Other than the AC that was a little wanting in 30c weather, the site is wonderfully located. We walked to all of suppers. There is a charging station for vehicles which was appreciated!

A lovely hotel in a quiet town. Breakfast was included and very tasty. Room was clean and spacious. We didn’t realize we had to book the EV charger in advance so had to charge our car down the road which was a bit more stressful than planned. When we arrived, we were told the hotel chargers were both booked for the evening.

Very comfortable but no motorcycle friendly.

Nice hotel but not very accommodating for motorcycles. I wanted to park two bikes in the car park but was advised all bays were reserved, which is fine, but they could have allowed us to park in the ample space in the car park where there is insufficient space for a car, but ample space for a bike. We had to park outside the hotel on the pavement. They did not appear to want us to dine in the restaurant, which turned out of as there is an excellent place 5 mins walk away which is very high quality.

While the staff, were friendly and helpful, our stay was disappointing. The hallway and our room had a strong, unpleasant odor, smelling like drains. When we brought this up, they informed us they were dealing with an ongoing issue. It's unacceptable that they would rent out rooms in an area with a known stench. They should have closed off that section of the hotel rather than charging guests for an uncomfortable experience. On top of the smell, the room was not clean. We found at least 6 spiders and several spiderwebs, which showed a clear lack of attention to detail and thorough cleaning. Ultimately, the kindness of the staff couldn't overcome the hotel's decision to rent out a room with a known odour problem. I cannot recommend staying here until these issues are properly addressed.
