「Ned was very helpful before we arrived and made the check in process very easy. This isn't the place to stay if you want modern luxury, but the cottage is very charming and in a beautiful location - we loved having our morning cuppa on the bench outside looking at the hills and sheep. The teenagers survived lack of internet due to the games room, and we enjoyed connecting again as a family. There were 4 adults and 3 teenagers, and we had plenty of space. 「Gorgeous farmhouse, in beautiful surroundings. A few more cobwebs than we’d expect, and some issues with lighting (a kitchen light that stays on for 3 seconds, then has a rest for a second, then back on etc etc. Some of the information for guests could be updated or made clearer ie where some facilities are, refuse disposal etc, and some of the basics like a sharp knife would be helpful, but to be fair, the owner and the cleaner were both incredibly helpful.」
