I expected a little more for a Marriott owned hotel. This place smelled pretty bad. The first room I was given smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. The staff took care of it immediately, which I appreciated. I had no issue with staff. The next room I took the elevator and it smelled of urine as well as the hallway. This location could use some care. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

The room was okay we were glad that it was close to different places to eat as well as shop. The price of the rooms were good especially for a quick weekend get away.

This hotel was absolutely abhorrent. Housekeeping never came, and I had to get my own bathroom body wash from downstairs because they refused to restock it. There was a lack of cleanliness. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The continental breakfast was underwhelming and there wasn’t even enough food for everyone to eat. The pool was filthy. The AC was broken so the room was very humid and sticky. The room seemed like the beds weren’t properly changed. There were marks on the curtain and the bed. Also, the plug outlets were very faulty and would not hold a charge. And the room keys were not working! We had to keep asking the staff to reload them. Definitely unsafe—we were located next to a gas station behind a Walmart!

The staff was very nice and helpful!!! one of the rooms had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and there was water all on the floor in a bad odor like mildew!!!! the other room floor was wet by the air condition had a very bad odor

The staff was amazingly helpful. However counter in the vanity was dirty and stained, hairs in the shower before we used it, cockroaches ran out from the coffee pot.

Worst stay that I have had in 4-5 years.... Came in on a Sunday and had to switch rooms three times as there was an issue with the first two rooms. On Monday when I saw the hurricane was coming through I told the staff that I would be leaving on Thursday morning to keep my family safe. I was reassured that I would not be charged for nights not used as the hurricane was coming and I had to go from MS, AL before I could get safely to Florida where we live. On Tuesday and Wednesday, I talked to four different staff members at the front desk to ask about being charged if we left early on Thursday. No problem, you will not be charged, all four said that, and then when I get home the invoice comes and I was charged over $200 a night for two nights that was during the hurricane..... Called and tried to get straighten for 14 days and no response from the hotel at all. Nothing like getting confronted by a homeless person in the parking lot at 6AM when it's dark. At this point I have written off Fairfield Inn's due to this experience. Marriott Bonvoy was no help either as the hotel is own by an individual and they ripped me off for $426. I guess that makes their bottom line look better at my expense.

The staff was very nice and courteous. No problems with finding food nearby and Walmart was in walking distance. The room could have been updated a little more but everything was clean.

They gave me a room with extreme moisture issues, mold and mildew. The room was out of order and they put us in it anyway.
