A friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in this Flathead Lake vrbo. We loved the rustic vibe and the basement apartment was exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable and the heater in the bathroom was a plus as mornings were quite cool. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and the full sized refrigerator had more than enough room to hold a week's worth of provisions. Rockers and Adirondack chairs on the porch were perfect for sitting and watching glorious sunsets over the lake and there were two glider chairs the hosts graciously encouraged us to use for sunset viewing from a different angle. The large propane grill came in handy several times when we decided to eat in instead of going to town. Host Peggy was a joy to visit with and loaned us bear spray to carry for when we went hiking. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about the various places in Bigfork to shop and eat. In addition, she tends the landscaping and flowers around the property, which are beautiful and attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The week passed too quickly but was restful in this serene setting. We'd love to spend more time here.

Overall it was an a relaxing experience. Opportunity to improve some minor things to make it more enjoyable. Damp lower level could use a dehumidifier to remove moisture and musty smell. Coffee maker did not work but we used the coffee press and we still had our morning coffee. T/P holder and a couple of the towel holders were loose and need to be tightened up. I would recommend putting in a insulated toilet tank as the current one sweats and water forms on the floor then caulk around the toilet to floor. (toilet tank could be part of the moisture dampness in lower level).

Beautiful and Peaceful
What a wonderful stay. The property had awesome views and provided all the comforts. We were immediately greeted and given access and then left to enjoy the quiet. The surrounding area offers lots of things to do. The kitchen was equipped so we could prepare meals with a full refrigerator to stock pile our goods. There was a load of DVDs to help pass time on a rainy day and a comfortable bed for a good night sleep. I would recommend this home as a great base station to launch many good times on your vacation.

Flathead Lake Getaway
Our stay at this beautiful location was all we hoped it would be! Clean, quiet, and relaxing. The lake view and sunsets were spectacular!! A short drive to the grocery store and restaurants in Bigfork. Internet access allowed us to enjoy our time in Montana while taking care of work obligations. The hosts were very accommodating. Great experience!!

This is a cute little place in the basement of a log home about five miles from downtown Bigfork. The king size bed was very comfortable as well as the bedding. We saw some beautiful sunsets from their property. I would take one star away as it did have a musty smell. We bought a candle which helped.

Great value at a great location!
Have used this rental twice for the past two years for an annual weekend trip to Glacier and surrounding area. Very clean and comfortable accommodations and the view of Flathead Lake is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Late Summer Stay
We loved the apartment in this cabin. Quiet secluded area just south of Bigfork. Very clean and welcoming when we arrived. Soft bed for a good night’s rest and a shower with excellent water pressure to clean up after the day’s activities. Our vacation went by too fast.

Should have been a five star....
The property was lovely, clean and comfortable. However, an overwhelming musty smell was prevalent throughout, especially in the bedroom. It was so bad we could not stand to spend time indoors except to sleep. Thank goodness the veranda and view were so lovely!

I can’t imagine what they could have smelled Ginger I saw it. I tried to leave a review on the ap but it won’t let me 🤨🤬 you didn’t deserve that review. Your place is amazing!! This is a hidden gem! Fantastic lower level single apartment with full kitchen and bathroom! The view is spectacular and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer! Highly recommend for a couple or small family!

Great place for us.
This is a really nice apartment, cute rustic vibe with the wood paneling. Large comfortable bedroom, walk-in closet and bath. Best shower for water pressure! Beautiful sunset views. We came home to a couple of deer in the yard. Really nice hosts, it had everything we needed.

Perfect Place
This property is directly across from Flathead Lake and the view is amazing. The king size bed is very comfortable and the shower has great water pressure. The place is decorated nicely and is also spotless. We spent all of our time here in Glacier National Park which is about an hour away. It was perfect for the two of us. The owners made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Tranquil retreat with great views
This place is a great place for two friends or a couple and one other person to stay when exploring the Flathead Valley, West Glacier, and the Swan River Valley. The layout offers plenty of comfort and privacy for 2-3 people, and as two friends traveling together, we were pleased to find a place with two actual beds! The apartment is very comfortable, very quiet, and a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views of Flathead Lake from the front porch. Watching the sunset over the lake each night was a real highlight of our visit. Although we used the kitchen only to make coffee, it has everything one would need to make a meal. . .but there are several good restaurants within a 5-15 minute drive. Mike and Peggy were very helpful in giving us the lay of the land when we arrived. The apartment's location is excellent, with many attractions within an hour's drive. This is the place I want to return to when I come back to Montana!

What a Knotty Place!
Sally and I loved the knotty pine paneling on all the walls and ceiling! The unit is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Mike & Peggy made us feel right at home too. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything was easy to find. We were there during the hazy skies due to the wild fires, but that cleared up for one beautiful day of our stay. We highly recommend a stay, and we'd definitely return if we had another trip planned for the area in the future.

The property overlooks Flathead Lake, which offers spectacular sunset views. We spent most of our time in Glacier National Park, less than an hour away, but this was a cozy place to come "home" to each night.

The Great Discovery!
This property and owners Mike and Peggy were exceptional and just what we needed! Clean, comfortable, BEAUTIFUL surroundings where nature abounds. Had I wanted to cook, all that I would have needed was there to make it happen . Our host’s were available for any needs and a pleasure! The town of Bigfork was quaint with many options for food and shopping. Being there a week we took in all the surrounding area had to offer from Glacier National Park to jet skiing on Lakehead Lake visible on our porch with our morning coffee . Sun rise and sun sets with star filled skies at night have put this on our “ Do it again ASAP” list. Book it before someone else does!

Relaxing vacation place
We had such a lovely time at this location. We stayed for 5 days. We came here for our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. The property manager was so sweet and made us feel very welcome. The place felt so homey inside and we got comfortable right away. We were able to buy groceries and make food at the house for the entire duration of our stay because we had the kitchen and all the necessary utensils available to us. The view of the lake was amazing and we were fairly close to Glacier National Park so we were able to go visit there two times during our stay. I would definitely recommend this getaway to other couples or even for a family on vacation. Although it wasn't a terribly large space, There was definitely enough room to sleep more guests comfortably. Overall, we had the best experience and enjoyed how relaxing and peaceful it was here.

Absolutely beautiful view. Nice quiet clean apartment. Easy to find with their instructions. Bed was very comfortable, had nice seating outside for us to sit and enjoy the amazing view of the lake. Would recommend to anyone and definitely stay again.
