High-end, tastefully designed home w/ amazing entertainments to choose from. Start w/ a cup of coffee in the large yard by the firepit or on the deck/patio breathing in the fresh mnt. air, then challenge your friends/family to a game of pool, foosball, air hockey or any of the arcade games. Take a stroll to TheVillage & The AlpineSlides-only a 5mins drive! Come back to the GrandGetaway & unwind in the hottub, gazing at the stars. End your night watching your fav movie in our private theater!

-Spacious home, sleeps 15 more than comfortably. (9 beds-1 King, 6 queens, 1 bunk bed, and 1 sleeper sofa)

-Hottub is ready to use and is fully operational. Please note that the hottub may not be used past 10pm in accordance with Big Bear Lake’s regulations.

-Enclosed movie theater room with seating areas for 5. Relax on our comfortable leather chairs and enjoy your favorite movie or show.

-Bbq grill & fire-pit contains propane, which won’t be provided. You can fill the tanks when it’s empty and we will provide a reimbursement to you.

-Fireplace is wood burning. We do not provide firewood so you must bring your own if you plan on utilizing the fireplace.

-Other entertainments available: pool table, foosball table, air-hockey table, 4 arcade games (Legends Ultimate, Final Fight), and several board games.

-Outdoor children’s playground in our fully gated backyard. Perfect for families with young kids!

-5 smart TV’s throughout the home with streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, & etc. You must sign into your own accounts.


Kitchen:
-Fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking tools, amenities, spices, silverware, dishes, and pots+pans.

-Amenities: toaster, Keurig coffee machine, fridge, gas stove & oven, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, blender, regular coffee maker, and hot water kettle.

-Cooking utensils: knife set, cutting boards, measuring cups & spoons, pots & pans, can opener, spatulas, BBQ utensils, and other cooking utensils.

-Paper towels and kitchen cloth towels are also provided as well.

-Coffee: coffee creamer & coffee pods are available for use.

-Dishwasher pods, cleaning supplies, and extra trash bags can all be found underneath the sink.


Bathrooms:
-2 walk-in showers and 1 bathtub.

-Every restroom in the home has 4-5 towels. Additional towels for the hot-tub can be found by the hot-tub.

-Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap will also be provided.

-Toilet paper, hair dryer are available as well.

-Hand towels and wash/face cloths are provided.


Laundry:
-Samsung washer and dryer are available if you need to wash your clothes during your stay.

-Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.


Bedrooms:
-Every bed in the home is topped with memory foam toppers. Enjoy a nice rest on our comfortable beds after a long day of play!

-Extra blankets and sheets will be available for use.

-Tons of throw blankets and pillows for a slumber party by the fireplace.

-1 porch & 1 deck. The upstairs deck can be accessed through upstairs bedroom. Enjoy the beautiful view of Big Bear from your bed-wake up to the sun shining through your doors or windows, start the day right! You can also access the backyard from the master bedroom downstairs.


Exterior:
-Huge fully gated backyard for a breezy summer night or a beautiful winter wonderland. Sit by the fire pit making s’more in the summer nights or build a snowman in the winter months.

-Hot-tub, and bbq grill are readily available for use. Please make sure to read our hot tub rules at the home when using the hot tub to ensure an issue-free experience.

-Outdoor playground area with slide, perfect for young children.

-Beautiful wooden swing set on the front porch. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the swing and engulf the beauty of Big Bear.

The entire home is yours to enjoy, with the exception of a couple locked closets where we keep supplies. A lockbox located on the deck across from the front door will enable easy entry and exit on your own schedule.

We’re available if any issues arise, but will remain off-site the duration of your stay unless there is a reason to visit.

The road to the Grand Gateway is not on a hill nor is it on a windy road. Easy, smooth drive to the home.

-COVID Safety: We have incorporated enhanced cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and clean space for yourself and all of your guests. All touchable surfaces are wiped and disinfected thoroughly. All sheets, pillows, pillow cases, comforters, throw blankets/pillows, & towels are all washed and dried prior to every stay. Please note that cleanliness has always been a priority for us but with Covid we have upped our protocols even more. We adhere closely to Airbnb’s Covid safety protocols and will ensure that the space you enter is as clean as possible.

-The snow is very beautiful but can also be very dangerous as well. Guests may find it easier to fall or slip on snow. We HIGHLY advise guests to be very cautious while walking on snow and especially so while guests are on or around our property. If and when there is an incident of falling, sliding, slipping, or anything along those lines, we are not held responsible nor liable for said incidents and or any injuries incurred from these incidents. Guests must take full cautionary measures and responsibility to prevent any accidents from happening at any given time while on the property.

-Big Bear Lake requires an in-person check-in for all guests. The purpose of this regulation is for us to do an initial head count of all guests. Please note that either myself or my cohost will schedule a check-in time with you once you’ve booked the home. Check-in will be done at the property. Please make sure that all guests are present during check-in time. Thank you.

-Guests will be asked to sign a Good Neighbor Policy Agreement upon check-in. This is per Big Bear Lake’s short term vacation ordinance to ensure that all guests are respectful of our nearby full-time residential neighbors and will not disrupt nor cause trouble to them during the guest’s stay. This will be done at check-in time during the in-person check-in.

-There will be no refunds for the following events: shortened stays due to emergencies, weather conditions, road closures, or anything along those lines.

-Big Bear is located in a mountainous region, and on occasions in the winter season we do experience power outages. This does not take place often, but due to the rural location of the home, we do experience outages more often than the City. We will not be refunding guests when power outages occur as the power tend to come back shortly - but of course not every situation is the same, and we will take each situation on a case by case basis.

-Big Bear Lake requires all guests to take their trash with them upon check-out. We have a large wildlife population in Big Bear, thus the City asks that guests take their trash to the dumpsite instead of leaving it at the home as animals may come for it. If you wish to have our cleaners take the trash, we will charge $20/bag. Please let us know prior to check-out if you decide to use this service.

-Hottub hours are strictly from 6am-10pm. This is per Big Bear Lake’s rules. Please respect our nearby neighbors and follow the hottub rule. We want to ensure that you have a pleasant stay and would not want nearby neighbors to contact code enforcement for a noise complaint. Thank you for understanding.

-Upon check-out, please place your dishes in the dishwasher and run it. If you leave dirty dishes in the sink a small fee will be relayed to you as our cleaners will charge for that service. Thank you.

-Snow Days/Months: Please note that when it snows, delivery services such as Instacart, DoorDash, and other groceries-based deliveries are not reliable. Some roads are very hard to get to for drivers when it snows, and some drivers may not deliver on time or at all. Please make sure that you bring your own food items/beverages to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, please note that the driveway and several walk paths will be plowed for your stay unless you request for those areas not to be plowed. Lastly, when we receive heavy snowfall, you may find your car stuck in the snow. Although there will be a snow shovel at the home for use, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will head over or send someone to help get you out.

-We ask that your pets do not go on any of our beddings, couches, or furnitures as we would like to maintain the quality of our home for future guests. Please also pick up any and all dropping from your pets in and around the vicinity of the home. If any dropping is found we will be relaying a fee to you from our cleaners. Thank you for understanding.

-No parties are allowed.

-There is a Ring Security camera located in the front and nowhere near inside the home. The camera helps us maintain accountability for the appropriate amount of people that are supposed to be at the home. There are no cameras inside the home, it is also illegal.

-Please do not smear or wipe anything dirty on our furnitures, beddings, and the like. Please treat the home as if it were your own. Thank you.

-No smoking in the home.
