friends and family loved it! owner was quick with any questions we had. the smell initially from the rental was a little off putting (kind of like cigarette smoke) but once we opened the windows and started cooking the smell went away. pictures are as described. close to alpine slides, about 30 mins from santa’s village. everything is closeby (groceries, gas, tesla charging station). didn’t snow until the day of check in but children were able to get a couple hours of sledding in the backyard before check out time. overall highly recommended, would stay again.

Out of town family came to visit us in Los Angeles and we took them to Big Bear to give them a mountain town experience. The house is 10 minutes away from the downtown area and has all the amenities promised. The kids enjoyed having their own play area. Any issues we had were promptly resolved by the manager and communication with the team was very pleasant.

The cabin was built excellent with great location! Host was very responsive and the cabin was very clean with everything we needed with kids. There was a small issue with the TV remote and maintenance person Ignacio was there in 10 mins to address it. Overall would highly recommend!

We had a great time during our stay. The kids and grown-ups really enjoyed the game room. Definitely a plus! The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, and cups. Stuff is randomly organized in drawers, but that's typical of rentals since no one remembers which drawer they took things from. Beds were comfortable enough, hot tub was clean, bathrooms were stocked. It is a good place to stay. Our only complaints were that it was a little dirty when we arrived with crumbs on the floor in the kitchen, candy wrappers in the bunk bed room, and some cobwebs in the common area. Also the wide lense photos on the listing gave this property a much larger feel than it actually is, which was disappointing, but we made it work. The owners were very welcoming and quick to respond to our texts and gave the vibe that they genuinely cared about our happiness. Thank you for that. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is amazing! Booked this property for my son’s 17th bday with a few of his friends! Everyone enjoyed the game room and the spa. Kept everyone busy for awhile! The 2 important factor for us while looking for a cabin! This cabin was beautiful! Clean and well maintained! They had everything from cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and mugs/glasses. Just everything you would need in the kitchen! Lots of towels/blankets and pillows! The owners inform us how to use the jacuzzi by texting us a video to show us how to work it. Very helpful! We didn’t have a problems with the property while we were there. Overall everything was great! Not to far from the grocery store or town center. Just a perfect area to stay at! Will definitely book this property again! Thank you!

Such a fun cabin for a family getaway! The property has so much character and wonderful outdoor spaces to relax. The kitchen was equipped with everything you will need and the top level is so much fun for the kids to play games and hang out. Quick drive to the village and the lake. This house was perfect for our 11 member family Spartan Trifecta Obstacle Race getaway. The house is located close to stores & Ski Resort. The game room was a BIG hit with the grandkids. Nice outdoor furnished decks to enjoy the peacefulness & scenery. There were a few issues once we checked-in, but once the owners were contacted they fixed all the issues & also compensated us for our inconvenience. Keep in mind this is a 3 story house, you will get a workout climbing up & down the stairs. Overall I'll keep this house in mind for any future trips to the Big Bear area.

From the initial check in to the check out, our trip was perfect. I couldn’t thank the homeowner enough for their hospitality. They ensured that we had everything we needed, and even provided additional details for some questions we had. The property is located in a great, quiet neighborhood. There were plenty of activities to keep us and our kids busy throughout the day and the afternoon. I definitely recommend this rental for families looking to spend some quality time together!

From the moment we got to Big Bear it was such an easy check in everything was sent to us days before on how to check in and all the information you would need for the home. We were even lucky to have an earlier check in. Our host communicated through text message which made it so much easier for us to get a hold of them. If I could choose any place to stay, this would be the home, it was super convenient and easy to find. We were right next to the mountain which was a huge bonus for us! The home was beautiful, clean and they had everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone 100% and whenever we have a larger group this would be somewhere we would love to stay again and again. Thank you so much.

We were a family of 6–three generations. The location was easily accessible to skiing, the lake, , and the village. The kitchen had all the things one could afk for, and the house in general is beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues, which were taken care of immediately.

House is great, 4 bedrooms, play area, good size kitchen and family room, and impressive balconies. Owners contacted us ahead of the stay and answered all of our questions. The city had a brief power outage, and they had candles and flashlights ready available for us, and sent us links to get updates from the city. We were given early checkin and late checkout, and had a great weekend. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are very spacious, the 4th had extra beds for kids/singles, and the kitchen had everything we needed - This is a great place.

The location of the house was nice because it is a short drive to the lake and the village. Unlike a lot of the houses in Big Bear, they really don't have a yard so if you want a place for the kids to play outside I'd find a different one. It was very hot in the house when we got there so we went to turn on the AC and waited for a while for it to kick in. It was blowing air but it was not cold. We also could not get one of the video games to work and the sand for the shuffle board table was missing. We called the first contact on the list so we could ask about all of these things. The guy who answered spoke very little English. He said his phone wasn't working then hung up on me. Someone else called back a few minutes later. This guy insisted that no house in all of Big Bear has AC, which is not true and AC is listed as one of the amenities. The house was extremely warm all weekend and most of the windows can't be left open because they're really just doors with no screens and you get a ton of bugs inside. Sleeping was very uncomfortable. He told me to scrape the sand from the side of the scuffle board table and sprinkle it on. There was not nearly enough sand to do that and we just wanted to make sure we didn't mess up the table. He was very short and rude and unhelpful. The conversation ended with, "call me if you have MAINTENANCE ISSUES!" Last time I checked, AC not working is a maintenance issue. He told me I had to contact the owner but then refused to give me the phone number. I seriously think they should find someone to replace him because that one conversation with him put a bad taste in our mouths for the weekend. The owner did end up calling me and was very nice and calm. He told me to try something with the AC and the video game that didn't work but neither of those suggestions were successful. At least he was calm and professional unlike the other guy The hot tub was filthy and never got past 94 degrees after 3 nights. We turned it up as soon as we got there. We were unable to use it the entire time. There were also a few large shards of broken glass on the deck in the back. It was nice to have the game room to use and the rollaway beds. The front deck was nice to sit on and large enough for many people. The beds were all pretty uncomfortable. I didn't even bother calling back about the stuff not working because I knew it was pointless and would get me no where. We had high hopes for the house but ended up feeling let down

Very clean and well maintained property. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are all nicely updated. The play room is a wonderful bonus. If stair climbing is an issue for you then I recommend another house as there is an extra set of stairs to settle into this house.

We had a lovely time visiting Big Bear in the wintertime. This house was close to the slopes and had plenty of room for our large family. The maintenance people were available quickly when we needed them and were polite and helpful. The owners answered all questions very quickly and were so nice to work with.
