Clovelly is just 6 miles away, and the town of Bude (15 miles) boasting a variety of shops and restaurants, beautiful sandy beaches, and an outside sea pool. For keen cyclists or for a more leisurely ride, the Tarka Trail offers miles of unspoilt views. There is something for every age range nearby: surfing and sandcastle building at the large sandy beach at Westward Ho! (14 miles), adrenaline-fuelled fun at the Milky Way Adventure Park and North Devon Wake Park (5 miles) and getting up close with the animals at The Big Sheep (13 miles).
Step inside the entrance hall and find an area with plenty of room to kick off shoes and boots. Pass through a glazed door and you are immediately drawn to the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with exposed oak beams and high ceilings, the floor to ceiling picture windows allow natural light to flood in. The lounge area has comfortable sofas a Smart TV and a wood burner makes for cosy nights in. The adjoining dining area is a great place for memorable mealtimes. The kitchen has an island unit and stools for morning coffee or a light snack. The kitchen itself is well fitted and has everything you need to cater for your stay including an air fryer and coffee machine. The adjoining utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and sink. Back to the kitchen and the patio doors open up to a fabulous, enclosed garden with lawn and terraces. The sleeping accommodation is at the other end of the barn and comprises of three bedrooms all have wall mounted Smart TV’s. Firstly, a twin room and next to that is a family bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. The next room has a super king size bed which has an ensuite shower room with WC. The last room has a king size bed which also has an en suite shower room and WC.
Outside to the front of the property is a large balcony with glass balustrade – here you will find the large hot tub at one end with a table and chairs and loungers. Within the property is the beautiful enclosed courtyard garden with lawn area with raised beds and pretty planting. Two terrace areas one with a wooden corner sofa and cushions, a dual fuelled BBQ, and on the other a large table and chairs and loungers making this a great social space. Children and adults can also enjoy the large garden games and this enclosed space makes it also ideal for your four-legged friends.
