Jump aboard the seasonal ferry from Appledore Quay just a short walk away and sail across the estuary to the sandy stretch of beach at Instow (5.5 miles), which offers magnificent dunes to explore and a wonderful local deli. Venture further along the coastline to explore the cliffside village of Clovelly 14 miles away, offering breathtaking coastal views and a unique cobbled street winding down to the peaceful quayside. The surfing haven of Westward Ho! can be reached within 3 miles.
