Staff were very helpful - we had been booked into another hotel locally but missed the check in times and it was locked up- so called the Castle and they were prepared to wait for us to get there

Staff were really pleasant. Room had a large bathroom ( no 5 ) and very clean, would recommend it and will return in the future

Excellent accommodation for all types.
Just a few days chill out, recharge the batteries. Nothing was too much trouble, every member of staff extremely helpful. Would highly recommend it!!

Two night stay
Stayed for two nights, staff were very friendly, breakfast was filling, if you want to use the restaurant best to book a table. Next time in Berwick, would stay there again

I had heard good things about the food at the hotel. Unfortunately the chef had taken ill and as a result there were no food options available. I did find the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful

Poor experience
Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Unfortunately, I had a pokey little room with plywood on the walls, with a tiny bathroom. I could hear people talking in the next room. They advertise free on site parking. This is a blatant lie. They have no parking at the hotel. Most on street parking is paid or limited to 1 hour free.

Easy check in and key drop service, excellent spacious clean rooms with complimentary tea/coffee in rooms, beautiful shower. 5* Breakfast was excellent, great choices available and servied by warm friendly staff 5*

One night stay near the station
One night stay with breakfast. Full cooked breakfast was delicious and a huge portion. Bed was very comfortable. Situated at front of hotel we did not hear the trains. We were not happy with the need to use the key fob and the knob to unlock the room to leave from the inside. We found the method awkward, the mechanism didn’t often engage first time and we would have hated to have had to use it in the need for a rapid escape. The ‘free on site parking’ was actually the street outside a small section of which didn’t have restrictions, a misleading description in my view.

Travelled by train so very handy position also walkable into town centre but away from the noise, also easy walk to the riverside. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with everthing you could need. Breakast very nice and staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel
We were surprised at the good condition of the Hotel, the staff were friendly and the rooms really couldn't be faulted. However, parking was very bad. It was a real challenge to park near the hotel.

Great place to stay
A lovely hotel in a central location for Berwick town centre. Clean and well presented rooms, with gorgeous bathroom. Good amenities including a well stocked bar. Good breakfast to start the day.

We had a great overnight stay. The Studio was ideal for two couples, spacious, very clean, and generous bathroom. Full breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations, many thanks - Doyles & Stephensons
