Animal friendly 1900's remodel farm house. Great for 2 couples! 1 mile from Berlin,10 minutes from Ocean City and Assateague. Berlin and Assateague are both dog friendly. The Ocean room is the master with a kind bed on the second floor with bathroom. The Bay Room is on the second floor, double bed. Bathroom on first floor. Has a kitchen, living room, sun room, outdoor bar and kitchen and patio. My boyfriend, Lee and I live on the back of the property in a camper. So we are right here if you need anything or have any questions.

Great dog friendly house
What a whimsical, charming, dog-friendly house. We had a great stay and will definitely be back The host, Laurie, was great. She was great with communication and gave great recommendations for restaurants and local activities.The property is perfect for dogs with a fenced in exercise and potty area. Close to Assateague beaches and downtown Berlin. Don't miss the farmers market in downtown Berlin on Sundays. It's one of the best I've been to.

I stayed at this property on the night of my wedding. We could not shower because there was mold on the shower head, we returned from our wedding to thousands of ants crawling on the kitchen counter, the unit possessed a foul odor, and the host was heavily drunk and incredibly inappropriate. Before the wedding my husband met the host. She arrived late and smelled of alcohol. She told my husband that she “just woke up and forgot a guest was coming” (it was 3 pm). My husband told her he was staying for his wedding night. The drunken host then told my husband “I was married for 17 years and it was horrible. Marriage is the worst idea, I tell people to never get married”. (He was getting married in 3 hours from that moment) After the wedding, we returned to the property. The first thing we noticed was a foul odor, as if the home had not been cleaned. We entered the kitchen to notice thousands of ants crawling upon the countertop. We immediately eliminated the ants. After for 30 minutes of eliminating pests, we attempted to take a shower. I was appalled to find there was mold on the shower head and the water smelled terrible. I ended up not taking a shower on my own wedding night. I expressed my concerns to the host and requested a refund as $500 is an enormous price to pay for the incredibly poor experience provided. The host replied by stating that we “should have booked a cheaper property”. This host has been reported. Do not waste your money, look elsewhere.

Perfect for Dogs
This place is located right in between the board walk and assateague island so you get the best of both with only a 10 minute drive. So much better than staying at a dog friendly hotel, I'd recommend this place a thousand times over. Really good communication with the owner as well, if you need anything at all, she's there to help. I'll be staying here again for sure.

We had such an amazing stay. The private backyard is where we spent ALL of our time. If you love the outdoors you’ll love this home. Great outdoor ambiance. 20min drive to OC. The owners are AMAZING!

Lovely and dog friendly!
Laurie was an attentive host checking regularly to make sure we were set. We loved the boho-beachy back yard for relaxing with our 3 dogs. Lots of other outdoor space for them too. Very close to Berlin with quaint shops and good restaurants that were not overpriced. Easy 10-15 minute drive to the Assateague beaches which we fell in love with!

Amazing house in a great location
We were on a girls weekend and wanted to go to Assateague National Lakeshore to see the wild horses. We found this house and it was the perfect location! Only minutes from Assateague as well as grocery stores and the town of Berlin, Md, which had many restaurants and stores. Laurie was a great host and even made a point of coming to visit us to meet us, which was a bonus! We spent 2 nights here and had a great time! Thank you, Laurie!

Great place for a needed getaway
Great place for a short getaway for my husband myself and our two dogs. The fenced in yard for the dogs made our time at the house very relaxing. The house was equipped with everything you need. Nice kitchen. Berlin was a cute town with great food. I would definitely recommend. We will stay there when coming back to the area.

Laurie's property is awesome and super pup friendly. She allowed us to bring our 5 dogs. It was our first time traveling with all of them! We had such a great weekend at her place! Nice pet friendly stay near the beaches
The house and yard were very comfortable for us during our visit to Ocean City and Assateague. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pup. Really appreciated the powerful air conditioning as it was a VERY hot week. Host was always available to answer any questions and offer suggestions for restaurants, etc.

Perfect Escape
First, location. Just minutes by car from downtown Berlin, MD, it was so quick and easy to visit, park and take in the shopping, dining, homemade ice cream, coffee, and even a record store. It was also a fairly quick trip to the beaches of Assateague National Seashore (and MD state park equivalent). All the beauty of the Outer Banks w/out the long drive from where we live near D.C. Also close to a brewery and a winery, again, 10 minutes by car. OK, that's location. Now for the house itself - comfortable beds, air conditioning (which was needed), and a great kitchen to cook many meals in. There is a terrific space out back with grills, bar, TV, fridge, and plenty of comfortable seating. Fenced in so dog friendly. We sat here many mornings before it got hot, drinking coffee and reading. Evenings were nice, too, as decorative lights come on. Further back is a separate fenced in section if your dog needs more space to run. Host - Laurie has all the local intel on where to eat, shop, and where is best to go on the beach. Her recommendations did not let us down. She is super helpful and we enjoyed meeting her.

Family vacation
Anyone who is looking for relaxing time with friends, family, kids and PETS this vacation destination is for you. Beautiful two story historic House, fully furnished, TV in every room. Everything is super clean. Great outdoor space for you and your furry family members. Just few minutes away from Assateague Island, Ocean City and Berlin. And of course, the wonderful Laurie!

Wonderful stay! Laurie (the owner) is a gem! She was so friendly, helpful & generous! The home is spacious, clean & comfortable and the fenced in outdoor living space is amazing! Our chocolate lab loved playing frisbee in the larger fenced in yard out back! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend for those traveling with pets! *the town of Berlin is also pet friendly which was a plus for a day shopping and eating out!

Unique, comfortable home in quiet area
Laurie has done an amazing job creating a beautiful vacation getaway from an early 20th century home. Communication with her was clear and easy, and the property had everything we needed and more. The indoor decor is really nice, and the outdoor area/patio is very inviting. Historic downtown Berlin is a very short drive, and we loved the access to Assateague.
