I read all the reviews and I agree the dome is cute, good location and the bed is comfortable. The problem we had was we were unable to stay inside the dome except early morning and later after 9 pm. We arrived at 3:30 pm it was 89 degrees in the master bedroom and hotter up stairs. We followed the directions to cool off the dome.I found two windows to open, turned on the ceiling fan in the foyer and the mini split down stairs in the little twin bed bedroom. We had to go sit outside for several hours then went to dinner. On our return at 7:30pm the down stairs was tolerable the upstairs was still 84 degrees. We were unable to lay in the queen size bed until the sun went down. The sun shines straight on the head of the bed through the dome windows till about 8pm. We went up stairs after 9pm and it was 80 degrees and no fans. The mornings with the mini split were fine. Everything including upstairs had cooled off. We left the mini split running and returned about 4pm. Downstairs the twin bedroom was fine the master with the sun shining on the head of the bed was not usable due to the sun shining in our eyes and the heat. In the low 80’s. Up stairs was 89 degrees. Once again we couldn’t stay up there until about 9pm when it cooled down to about 80. To our host, a portable upright air conditioner up stairs would solve this problem. For down stairs add a trundle instead of a twin bed. This gives couples the option to stay in the room with the mini split and out of the sun.
