A Charming B & B

My husband and I stayed at The Queen for Family Weekend at Penn State. Our first time in a true Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint. From the warm welcome by Nancy and Curt to the charming details throughout their home to the absolutely over-the-top breakfasts, we enjoyed everything. We will be back!

The house was well-maintained. The room was cozy and clean. We had a late arrival and early departure so we didn't get to stay for breakfast. The only downside is that the house is old and the floors are creaky so we heard the floors creaking late at night. I would stay there again.

I loved staying with my wife, grandson, 13 and our cat for a night at the Queen. Only wish the stay had been longer, a very hospitable bed and breakfast, charming host and great staff. The town offers a lot to see and do and nearby State College has a nice Campus vibe.

Holiday Inn!

A beautiful inn! We stopped while driving north for Christmas and had such a nice stay. The inn was decorated from top to bottom! We had a great sitting room with a fire running when we arrived. Also, there is a charming town within. A quick walk. We saw beautiful homes, had a great dinner and even found Santa in his hut on the street! The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed ourselves so much!!!

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay in the Nanny's Attic room at The Queen. We felt very much at home thanks to the attentions of Nancy and her staff. Our room was beautifully furnished and was cozy and comfortable. The food (breakfast) was locally sourced and amazing. Nancy, our host, shared a wealth of knowledge of local history giving us many choices of restaurants and attractions to visit. The location was within easy walking distance of stores and restaurants in downtown Bellefonte; close to multiple state parks and natural areas; and less than 20 minutes from Boalsburg and State College. Staying at the Queen gave us a great appreciation of the neighborhood and surrounding community of Bellefonte and Centre county.

Victorian Charm

The Queen is a lovely Bed & Breakfast with all the charm an old Victorian home can bring . The decor is warm and inviting and the accommodations were very comfortable. Nancy , our host , greeted us warmly and took us to our room. The morning breakfast was excellent band we left with some beautiful custom mugs to remember our trip . Highly recommend.
