Accommodations: 3-4 Bedrooms, 2.5-3.5 baths, Sleeps up to 14 in home (3 more seasonally in Pool House bedroom. Pool House full bath & bedroom are available when pool is open May 1 - October 15.

The perfect, upscale, personal, country retreat. The home, hot tub and heated, in-ground pool are situated on 25 private acres on one of the highest elevations in Missouri. POOL IS HEATED & OPEN FROM MAY 1 - OCTOBER 15 EACH YEAR! The pool house includes a full bath, bedroom which sleeps 3, outdoor kitchen & gas grill, outdoor living room with gas fireplace, 75" 4K UHD Smart TV & wi-fi. You will enter Big Oak Lodge through an electronic security gate and follow a private lane which leads to the home. The property is located in a quiet area where you can truly unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat from everyday life. There is also a 5 acre lake on the property for your use. You will find this to be a perfect getaway whether you are looking to spend quality time with your family, a romantic getaway for two or an escape for you and your closest friends.

MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: As you walk through the front door, the first thing that will capture your attention is the view of the lake and the horizon. The living room's 16 foot wall of glass allows you to take in all the views. The living room and kitchen is open, perfect for food, fun and fellowship. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans, eating utensils, tile floors, large center island with a dining bar. The dining area seats six. Enjoy your meals while looking at the lake and the 15 mile view of the rolling hills.

ADDITIONAL MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: Sliding glass doors from kitchen, living room and master bedroom lead to the wrap-around deck.

OUTSIDE: Enjoy a walk by the private Lake, sit in the Gazebo, enjoy the manicured grounds, swim in the heated, in-ground pool or just kick-back and relax in the hot tub.

NEAR BY: The Gasconade river is about 5 minutes away, the Osage River is 20 minutes away, Fugitive Beach Waterpark is 45 minutes away, and the Lake of the Ozarks is an hour away.

The Herman Winery is located 30 minutes away, Westphalia Winery 20 minutes away and Wenwood Farm Winery 15 minutes away. SURVEILLANCE DEVICES: VRBO and the host are committed to protecting the privacy and security of hosts and guests. The VRBO policy allows reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property while still protecting privacy inside the home. There are no surveillance devices operating inside the home. There are surveillance devices (outdoor cameras) operating outside the home and are in use strictly for security purposes. Our perfect getaway.

The property was beautiful. The pond and pool were both main attractions. Lots of room and comfort in the house and on the deck. Tyler was a great host and easy to communicate with. We had a great week!!

Great time. The house and amenities are perfect. We enjoyed the pool and outside area. Got to watch Jaws how it's meant to be, outside on the big TV while In the pool! Only issue were the older folks in our group couldn't go down to the pond as the walk was long and uphill on the way back.

Great family get away!

Super easy to access the property. Randy provided easy to understand details for everything we needed to know for getting in and using the pool etc. The kitchen was very well stocked and had all sorts of utensils, serving items, tableware, and appliances...everything we needed. The pool cover was a big bonus. Very easy to operate and so helpful for keeping our young children safe. We loved the pool, exploring the property, and trips into town for treats at Bob's Frozen Custard. Hope to return!

I cannot say enough good things about this Beautiful rental home, from the very attentive host to the endless things to do can't remember last time I caught so many fish :) endless fun we had in the pool and that pool house, Wow with the outside kitchen was Great. This place is a hidden gem!! We feel so lucky to have come across this place in mid Missouri! It was a nice relaxing getaway for our family and extended family!! From the pool to the pool house, to the lake and fishing, to the kitchen that had everything you would need! To games inside and out, WiFi, multiple TVs, downstairs wet bar, this place has it all! Something for every person in your group. Our kids made memories to last a lifetime. Another small note but a big deal to me were all the fans! There was plenty of air condition but fans in each bedroom for extra comfort. Just shows they care about the small things too! Thank you for letting us stay Tyler and Randy, we can’t wait to come back!

This property was great and Randy was the best host! If you want a place to getaway with privacy, this is the place. The pool and hot tub was nice to use anytime of the day. Fishing in the lake was so relaxing and even caught several fish. We even saw a few deer and geese. The house was very accommodating, had everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this property for anyone and we are already planning to come back for another stay. Big Oak Lodge is our getaway now!

Fantastic property!

We came to the area for a float trip, but we regretted having to leave this house to go have fun! It was really clean. The pool and hot tub were great and so easy to operate. We had beautiful sunset views each night. The kitchen had all the cookware we needed, and the table upstairs was perfect for board games. Check-in was a breeze. Randy kept in contact with us in the event we needed something, but otherwise left us to enjoy our stay - exactly what we like in a short-term rental. This house is likely going to be our summer vacation spot from now on!

The property was amazing with so many fun outdoor activities including, but not limited to, frisbee golf (we used a football), fishing (catch and release and pretty good-sized fish!), hot tub, frollicking and traversing the property. The hosts were more than responsive and the place was immaculately clean. Our kids (7-9yo) had a blast and didn't want to leave, neither did we!

Family vacation

This place is amazing with all the amenities you would need in one locations! We loved that we never had to go anywhere to find a new activity for our family to do. The pool was fun and warm, the pond was stocked with great fish to catch. The house was comfortable and the beds were great to sleep in. The host checked up on us to make sure everything was going well. Great place and we will be coming back again!
