Midweek skication

Great place to stay! Loved the location since it’s a quick drive to ski hills. Also, two cute towns are within 10 minutes so lots of options to eat out. The townhouse itself has comfy beds & great water pressure in the baths. Photos & description are accurate. We’ll be back!

Nice Stay!

My husband and I brought my mother in law, my brother in law and son to stay for a wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect for our short stay. Very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

This is a great place to stay. It’s located in a great area. We took several day trips to surrounding cities and lakes that were amazing. This is an easy recommendation to give for several reasons, the owner was super easy to contact with any concerns, the location was great, and the atmosphere was simply amazing. If you want nice relaxing get away this is your spot.

Perfect location

Great location close to town and other northern communities. Golf was plentiful in the surrounding area. Property was clean and the host was great with communication. The stay was comfortable and the townhome worked well for young children.

Perfect Condo!

This is the second year that we stayed at this condo. I can not say enough wonderful things about this condo. Close the mountain, easy to get to, plenty of room for people to have their own space, game room is awesome, beds are comfortable, very clean and the hosts are wonderful communicators! Do not think twice when choosing this condo to stay in, it is worth every penny!!!!

5 Stars All Around!

Being the unit on the end offers great windows letting lots of light in. The condo is surrounded by woods with a beautiful view to the golf course and deck is perfect for a bbq and socializing. Lots of room to stretch out inside too and during summer the pool right out front and fire pit are very convenient. Great stay!

Responsive owner and very nice property

We had a great time during our stay at the townhouse. It was the perfect blend of rustic and updated and was very clean. The owner is very nice and very quick to respond- he also provides an awesome website of things to do, where to eat, etc. The townhouse was less than 15 mins from town, the grocery store, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in the north country!

We had an awesome long weekend up at schuss for my daughter’s 12th birthday. Everything was accurately described on website. Had a fire one of the nights as it was in single digits and a bit drafty in mainfloor - the fireplace was a great bonus! Used the pool- Saturday night it was packed but Friday and Sunday almost the only ones there

Perfect ski weekend...

Wonderful ski weekend to be in northern Michigan. The condo is minutes from the chairlifts of Schuss Mt. Great working kitchen with everything to feed five teenagers (which isn't easy to begin with). No complaints by anyone. Games and drinks to finish off each evening. Amazing time. Fireplace was a big bonus.

Friends Ski Weekend

Our group had a wonderful stay. The property is super close to the ski hill which made it convenient to make a quick trip back for lunch and a warm up. The host made sure we all set and was easy to communicate with. Our kids loved having their own space to hangout in the room with the loft.

Well placed with great amenities

This is a well placed cabin in the middle of everything that that area has to offer. The other great thing is that you have access to most of the amenities in the Shanny Creek complex including pools and a quick ride to lots and lots of golf. Additionally there is a pool literally steps from the front door which makes it nice when you want to take a quick dip and hang out. The host is also extremely communicative and willing to answer questions that you may have come back to torch lake we will look for this property again!

First Time Find

This was our first visit to the Torch Lake area. The condo was perfect for our family get together. The pool was steps away. We loved the deck with the view through the woods at the golf course.

Great Up North experience

We loved the Up North decor in this condo; it was very relaxing. All the rooms were clean, plus we really enjoyed the "great room" layout on the first floor which made it easy to all visit while getting our evening meals prepared. The kitchen also was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and cooking ware. It's also close to Torch Lake which we really lied. I would recommend this condo. Everyone in our party was impressed with it.

Relaxing!

What a great little spot on the end of the row next to the woods. Fall colors are spectacular!! On the greens and up the trails to the summit!! Kitchen has everything you need, super soft towels and hot water. Upstairs quiet and loft with all the video games!! Fireplace is super easy and a great ambiance. Enjoyed Bellaire and Traverse Area.

Great location

This is an end unit of a townhouse type property. We were there between busy seasons so there wasn’t a lot of traffic. It was quiet, it was very peaceful. The unit itself was clean and well laid out. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family in style. The owner was very attentive and quick to communicate. Very easy to work with. It was a pleasure. If we have another chance, we will be back!
