「The parador is unique, being a restored former monastery. There are two distinct parts to the hotel, one modern building attached to the older monastery. When we stayed there were very few people and it was like being in a ‘stately’ home all by ourselves. There were antiques in the halls and a long library to sit in and contemplate.
