"The hotel is surrounded by nature and ideal for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Also ideal for those travelling with pets. The restaurant serves good food and hotel staff where very friendly. Our room was clean and had comfy beds. On-site parking available. Only downside was an 'occasional' stench in the room from the drains."

"Fantastic friendly welcoming staff in this very well located hotel, great value for money and a few mins walk from most shops and restaurants."

"Fabulous setting in the old palace Excellent reception Great breakfast"

"What a charming place. The location is perfect inside of the ruins, close to main plaza. Free and 24hr parking. The price incredible. "Lovely peaceful location."

"Excelente lugar para disfrutar."

"Clean and comfortable with stunning views from the terrazas. But sharing one bathroom with three other rooms was inconvenient."

"Friendly staff and clean hotel."

"Was a great stay place was clean we felt very welcome. Thank you"

"This is an out-of-the-ordinary Spanish parador. To be chosen by those on honeymoon, be it for those just married or those celebrating 50 years. The hotel is adjacent to a formidable castle, open for visitation. And there is a gorgeous hike into the woods, also adjacent to the hotel. Jaen is an interesting town, too. "La terraza y las vistas son extraordinarias, pero la casa necesita un arreglo, en especial la cocina. La azotea no estaba acondicionada cuando fuimos, y pese a que el anuncio decía que había 3 habitaciones, la parte de arriba estaba cerrada sin que nos hubieran advertido."
