Private Dock & Rowboat! Cabin on Bearskin Lake

"We were presently surprised! The location was perfect. Nestled in the woods, but only a few minutes drive to the main road and not far from the beautiful town of Minaqua.This cabin has been completely restored on the inside, while keeping the original exterior charm. Your private dock is literally just steps away from the lake and shore where you can enjoy a nice campfire (bring your own chairs for extra comfort). It was so nice that they had firewood available on site for a very small price. And they also have a 14 ft fishing boat that is available to use for free! The primary reason for our visit was to spend a couple of days on the bicycles riding on the bearskin Trail. This cabin is absolutely perfect to access the trail! It is literally a short one minute walk. We enjoyed the beautiful countertop where we enjoyed our meals and took in the beautiful sunrise each morning. The Host was very accommodating and responded very promptly. With such good access to the lake, a newly remodeled cabin complete with everything you need, and shouldering the areas premiere bearskin Trail, this cabin is a great value and we will definitely be returning for another visit. We highly recommend it."

"We rented for the fall ride. My husband had a great time fishing. So if you’re a fisherman you’ll love it. Cabin was clean and nicely updated. Definitely would rent again. Side note not a lot of space for luggage. So if you’re coming with a family be prepared. For us it was fine we used the second bedroom to store our suitcases."

"Lovely place, extremely peaceful! (We had to buy a fan for white noise!) Kitchen was very well stocked! Plenty of things for the kids and family to do between fishing, boats and kayaking to board games wifi and TV, streaming. The lily pads surrounding the dock and lake front was about the only downside I can think of. There is a skylight above the master bed so eye mask might be helpful if you're not an early morning riser! Big fire pit and firewood available, chairs to sit in outside, in case you forget lawn chairs. Minimal bugs! Which was surprising considering being close to water! Deer, otter, turkey, eagle, Loon and ducks were some visitors, along with bunny, chipmunks and a couple chattering red squirrels were some of the wildlife around the cabin!"
