中央駅からとても近い

バイヨンヌの中央駅から歩いて5分程度。中心街へは10分程歩かなければ行けないが旅の途中に寄って1,2泊するには十分よかった。

駅に近い

ホストのマダムが日本好きで、とても良くしてくれた。おすすめのレストランを教えてくれたり、市内の観光スポットなどを地図に書いてくれた。自転車を貸してもらえるとのことだったが、壊れていて使えなかったのが残念だが、駅の近くなので便利だった

改装したばかり

駅からは一本道ですぐで分かりやすいです。改装したてで、各フロアの雰囲気が違い楽しいです。トイレが共用なのが不安だったのですが、とてもキレイで安心して使えます。フロントの人も感じよく気持ちよく滞在できました。ただ、周囲は少しうるさいです。

Clean budget hotel across the bridge

Perfectly satisfactory for a budget type hotel. To be completely en-suite, with a rather compact bathroom, you need to specify a confort-plus room. Other rooms have shower and/or toilet on the landing. It is situated in the St. Esprit area across the river from Grand Bayonne. A pleasant walk across the bridge (or at the moment there is a small ferry across the river to Petit Bayonne). There are regular buses (except Sunday) on lines A1 and A2 currently taking a roundabout route to Grand Bayonne while the bridge is being resurfaced. There are a handful of restaurants nearby (inc. nice one next door) but the main area for nightlife is across the bridge. The room was clean and very well heated. For €8 the hotel offered the basic French breakfast of half baguette, croissant, butter and jam, yogurt, fruit juice and coffee. No hot food, cold meats or cheese. If that seemed a bit expensive, it was all well done and in line with other French hotels. I would stay again.

QUELLE DÉCEPTION !!

Lors de ma réservation sur le site hôtel.com, c était pour une chambre "supérieure". A mon arrivée, non seulement j ai été "accueilli" par un monsieur ( sans doute le gérant ) froidement et dans l indifférence totale ( heureusement que la jeune femme a remonté un petit peu le niveau par son accueil et sourire...) mais j ai eu droit à une chambre "classique" bardée de lambris aux murs pour cacher la misère et facturée moins chère alors que j avais payé plus sur le site...Cela s appelle de la publicité mensongère voire de l escroquerie ! J ai un passé une nuit très désagréable à cause d une ventilation assourdissante dans le mur et ce, toute la nuit ! Le lendemain, à 8h : accueil et salle petit déjeuner FERMES , personne mais juste une pencarte " veuillez déposer vos clés avant outre départ..." Honteux !!! En toute sincérité, JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS CET ÉTABLISSEMENT ! ...si vous aimez payer pour être sous classé....

Look around before booking here.

We had a misunderstanding from the start. I thought I had booked a room with private bath (I always do). It was either Hotels.com site or my mistake, and I would still like to know. But the place is a bit bleak and you can do better in the same area in Bayonne.

Mantenimiento y limpieza impecables. Es un edificio estrecho, por lo que no tiene ascensor, y al menos en la tercera planta el baño es compartido. Muy recomendable.

Nice central hotel

The hotel is central to everything you want to see in Bayonne. Great experience with friendly staff and nice hotel bar as well. Plenty of things to do around the hotel and just across the bridge. I would stay again! :)

Handy location to Bayonne Rail Station

We were looking for a hotel in either Bayonne or Biarritz that was close to the Rail Station to enable us to travel to St Jean Pied de Port. This hotel filled the bill and its reception was open from 8am to 10pm

Idéal pour attendre

Hôtel sur une rue pittoresque tout près de la gare et du bus en direction de l'aéroport. Restos tout près. Situé à environ 15 minutes à pied du centre historique. Tranquille, propre, mais sans luxe (toilettes et salle de bain à l'extérieur de la chambre).

Pleasant, friendly hotel

This is an old building but it has been nicely and Inexpensively renovated. Do not expect a lot of luxury but it is very comfortable and everything works. The person we dealt with, who worked both the bar and reception, was both friendly and helpful

je suis plus que satisfait de mon séjour la personne en charge de la réception à était plus que gentil et même très serviable j'ai réussi à avoir la chambre pour 1 nuit de plus sans souci j'ai aussi déposer mes bagages plus tôt sans que ça dérange il m'as donner de bon de adresse pour manger des plats type de chez eux

Hôtel pas idéal pour dormir

C'est vrai que les chambres ne sont pas très cher alors il ne faut pas s'attendre à du grand luxe mais le minimum est quand même de pouvoir dormir ce qui n'a pas été le cas. Que la fenêtre soit ouverte ou fermée on ne voyait pas la différence donc on a pu profiter toute la nuit des personnes alcoolisées qui passaient dans la rue en hurlant, les scooters qui passaient en faisait un nuit infernal (c'était pourtant une rue piétonne il me semble). Donc impossible de dormir. Et les murs n'étaient pas plus épais que les fenêtres, on ne peut pas aller aux toilettes sur le palier sans réveiller tout l'étage avec le bruit des portes quand on les ouvre. Le seul point presque positif c'est la décoration de la chambre, à part les finitions qui sont très mal faites. Hotel a éviter donc si vous voulez dormir.

Hôtel agréable très proche du coeur de Bayonne

Sans logement pour mes études, j'ai choisis de passer la semaine de rentrée dans cet établissement. Bien placé, avec un rapport qualité prix tout a fait correct et un accueil aussi bienveillant qu'agréable, mon séjour c'est très bien passé. Il est un peu difficile de se garer près de l'hôtel mais on nous indique bien vite ou laisser gratuitement la voiture, le centre ville étant très proche et les transports en commun très simplement d'accès. Seul point négatif: il y avait un tout petit peu de poussière sous mon lit, mais tellement peu que je ne l'ai remarqué que le jour de mon départ. Je reviendrais sans doute.

great neighbourhood near the train station - mixed

the hotel is funky, a wine bar from which you can get a feel of the neighbourhood by sitting outside and paying attention to the life going on around you - around the corner an excellent French/Moroccan restaurant and a beautiful looking creperie next door - off the tourist trail well worth the time and extra effort as it enriches one's travel experience - if you want a Marriot or 4 seasons this is not for you - if you have a brain and are looking for something interesting this may very well suit
