"Loved this hideaway. Was there for work and was nestled away in the countryside approx 5 miles from where I needed to be. Would definitely say more ideal for couples but the staff couldn't be any friendlier and helpful. The homemade chips certainly took me back to my childhood too!"

"It's a spacious house with a massive potential.Parking for two cars at the front. Gates can be closed for the safeguarding kids or dogs.Alex is very fast replaying messages.Some other nice features are - wood burner, TV in the upstairs bathroom, lovely view over the river.Everything we needed for cooking was there to use. Complementary coffee, tea, sugar and milk.3 spacious bedrooms upstairs and a small one with a bunk bed downstairs. All came with fresh, clean bedding.All in all we enjoyed our two night's stay."

"Made to feel very welcome by friendly, polite and professional check-in staff. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I didn’t eat dinner, but did have a drink in the bar where a good range of drinks, and food was available. The outdoor garden area was spacious, and indoor very pleasant with good music at just the right level two. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay and I will be happy to return at some point in the future."

"Overall the room was clean however there was a hair on the pillow? The rest of the room and bathroom seemed to be clean. The usual frustration of completing pre check in online information before you arrive, but when you check in you are asked to provide your check out date before a key card is issued. Why!"

"Excellent one night stay over. Very friendly check in and sorted my couple of issues out immediately. Food was absolutely incredible. Even more so when the cost of 2 courses was just £23. Lamb and mint gravy with the Shepherd's Pie was amazing. Will certainly stay again."

"Lovely clean, modern single storey house - I wouldn’t have called it a cottage.Has everything we needed.A few points I’d like to make though -There is no sign to say which building is the cottage, we guessed as there was car outside the other one.Access has a gate & a bin across half of it - the gate is not mentioned in instructions.The digital guide says there’s a Sky remote - there isn’t .So many links to “deals” in all messages from host & repeated several times.Discovered CCTV cameras recording any outdoor movement, even patio area - invasion of privacy & made us feel uncomfortable when going outside.No charging electric vehicles notices everywhere, does not make you feel very welcome,Shower - unable to lower temperature below 38No oven gloves!"
