Room was clean and super spacious! The bed sagged in the middle but in spite of that, I was comfortable and slept well on it. Decent complimentary breakfast with very good coffee!

If you're on a budget and you're only staying for a night or two. It's an older building and they seem to be running a pretty small crew, but the hotel is quiet, pillows were comfortable, and you're close to the major highway. I just checked into a newer Comfort Inn in Gulfport, MS, and the difference here is noticeable! Newer, cleaner room, friendlier staff, nicer neighborhood. I gave the Port Allen location 4 stars. Like I say, if you're looking to save money and you're only staying for a night, maybe two, you're fine. Next time I'm in that area, I might spend the extra few dollars for something a little nicer though.

The place was clean and smelt good the moment we walked in the door. Room was a good size and the continental bfast had lots of options including waffle machine. It was conveniently located off the hwy and an easy, quick commute to the other side of the river. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had to move rooms. The third floor smelled too strongly of cigarettes and cologne. The room on the third floor that we were originally in had dirty sheets and hair throughout. We moved to the second floor. The second room smelled better, but the hallways smelled strongly of cologne. We had to ask twice for sheets for roll out bed and even then we only got one top sheet. The room was out of toilet paper. The towels and shower mat had holes. The beds were a little firm. The breakfast was nice and clean.

Everything was nice. Good hot breakfast offered from 6-9am. Employees were polite and professional. Only issue I had was they were stingy with the washcloths and towels. When I arrived at.the hotel I had no washcloths in my room. The front desk claimed the door was locked to the laundry and couldn't get me any wash cloths. I told him I wanted to take a bath and had no way to bathe without washcloths, so he unlocked the door and got me 1 washcloth. I stayed for 4 nights. I had a do not disturb sign on the door so I was gone when they came to clean rooms. That night my boyfriend went down and asked for a washcloth because we had turned in all dirty washcloths that morning and needed clean ones. The guy told him the same thing and wouldn't give him any washcloths so we had to bathe with the face towels. I'm not a thief and not trying to steal washcloths. I work at the front desk of a hotel and I know they keep a master key for front desk to access the laundry room. That is bad customer service to not give someone a washcloth to bathe with. It's gross. Other than that nice clean hotel.

Was checking in only to discover I wasn't in their computer. The front desk was rude but the other guy hadn't punched my reservation in. I was calling the people I booked with but it was the hotel fault. My room smelled of mold old dirty clothes. Bought air freshener from store to help with smell.
