The best part about this place is that it's in an excellent location. You will be right in the center of everything. The apartment is large, stylish, and it was easy to check in remotely.
However, some things were missing that kept my stay from being great. First, the washer/dryer was very dirty and I didn't notice until it stained one of my favorite blouses. Second, the bathtub took over an hour to drain after a 10-minute shower. Third, the kitchen had most things I needed, but there was no large stock pot (the type you'd make pasta in). This seemed like a major oversight. I reached out to the property via email about the cleanliness of the washer/dryer and received no response. That's just not acceptable.
The worst thing about this apartment is the noise. It was so loud here. The bar below the bedroom window, the seagulls, and skateboarders made so much noise. The windows were poorly insulated and did almost nothing to block the noise. I guess that's the price you pay to be in the middle of things, but it' more about the quality of the windows. I've stayed in London and New York, both loud cities, and the noise could be blocked by a good window. I kept getting woken up in the middle of the night.
I would have rated the property one star higher if they had responded to me. Two polite emails, and not a single response despite the fact that they emailed me pretending to care about my feedback.
