Deer Brook Cabin w/ Hot Tub, Fireplace & Brook
Our Hidden Brook Cabin in the White Mountains is the perfect rustic retreat! Features a cozy wood burning fireplace for snuggling up on cold winter nights and a private outdoor deck and 3 season porch, great for listen to the babbling brook that passes right by the cabin. Very comfortable for couples or small families, close to the best hiking in the East, lakes, amazing ski resorts (Loon, Cannon & Bretton Woods), craft breweries, coffee shops, restaurants of every kind and sightseeing! This cabin is perfect for couples or small families seeking a private spot to enjoy nature. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, three well appointed bedrooms, and fireplace. The cabin is situated off Rte. 112 (Kancamagus Highway) down a lengthy private driveway to a rustic cabin on a babbling brook that feeds the Wild Ammonoosuc River. This cabin is located in the town of Bath, close to great gold panning on the river, as well as the Big & Little Eddy for swimming. The cabin offers TV, DVD player with many titles, wifi, books and vintage games. Get truly unplugged and remember what it used to be like to relax. There is no cell phone reception, however you may be able to dial using the wifi. The wifi at this cabin is satellite wifi so it is good for surfing the internet, but latency issues will make zoom calls more challenging. The cabin's well water is not potable (drinkable) and should not be used for drinking or cooking. Please bring bottled water for this purpose. The cabin is within walking distance of the Swiftwater Way Station and only 5 minutes to Woodsville (Shaws, Walmart, Job Lot & Resturants). We are available, by phone or text as needed, but the guests will have the entire cabin to enjoy themselves. You need a car to get around, and AWD is advisable in the winter. The area, including the driveway, is quite hilly. Don't come up in the winter on bald tires! Studs are recommended for the driveway in the winter.

The property is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin runs alongside a stream with a hot tub and fire pit outside. Located right off the highway but far enough away where you don't hear traffic. The inside feels like "home". Plenty of room and we'll furnished. Communication was very efficient and Erik was easy to reach. We wish we had more time to spend in the area. Hopefully, well be back!
The cabin has been nicely expanded from the original with its wide plank floors and working fieldstone fireplace. It is equipped with nicely appointed kitchen with windows looking out on pine trees. The three bedroom mattress were very comfortable. Would recommend.
It was very relaxing with the brook and birds in the back ground. While we enjoyed a fire and the hot tub. It was exactly how we imagined it would be. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the attractions we wanted to visit. We defiantly would stay again
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were looking for. There is a nice deck with hot tub and a babbling brook that runs behind the cabin. We especially loved the fireplace in the living room that came with a huge supply of nice dry split firewood. The hosts were great when we had a small issue with the hot tub and had it dealt with promptly. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a private stay in the woods.
Perfect little getaway. Hot tub was amazing, as well as the fire pit for s’mores and a relaxing vibe. The directions and guide were very clear and thorough, as well as the hosts being helpful and responding. The location was beautiful and made for great scenery. They had everything we needed to cook meals, and I loved the open window above the bed to hear the water before bed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was our 2nd visit and we really enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We used the hot tub a lot! We had some rain during our stay so we brought our ez-up canopy to put over the hot tub so it could be used rain or shine!
We came in May of 2023 for 2 nights. That wasn't long enough so we stayed for 3 nights this time and recommend longer.
We brought our 2 small dogs and they had a great time.
Just looking at dates to come back on the fall
The cabin was fantastic. It was so peaceful. The hot tub was fantastic. There was an issue with the chemicals and the host had someone there within an hour to fix. We loved the seclusion and were really able to relax and unwind. I work remote and the wifi worked fine. We also had cell service. There are actually three bedrooms; one queen and 2 with singles. We hope to be able to visit again! Would love to see the brook in the spring.
This was a perfect place for a getaway from the world. Me and my girlfriend greatly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was clean and was excatly what we needed out of our little trip, which was a nice romantic getaway from our lives. The property managers were great in giving us all the information we needed, and in a way we were easily able to understand. Would very much recommend and visit again next chance.
5 stars..cabin is so cozy and accommodating, nice little fireplace in the living room along with a fire pit outside…. Wood is on site cut, stacked and covered, the jacuzzi at night under the stars is relaxing! Best part is the Brook that runs behind the house you can hear it at night in bed. Will book again. 5 stars
Everything was very rustic but being very nice. Very clean. We loved having a fire in the fireplace each evening.
The “babbling” brook was so nice. The first morning we thought it was raining which was disappointing to us but then to our delight it was the sound of the babbling brook
Disappointing was that we received the house manual very close to the time we left. The manual said we needed to bring our own sheets and towels which made us scramble to gather supplies. Wish we had received it sooner.
Great location! Spent a weekend here and the setting can't be beat. We also enjoyed hiking around the area and the foliage around the state was also superb. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace and the host was very responsive.
Finding the secluded was very easy thanks to the specific directions sent by the owners. The cabin was everything that was advertised. The hot tub was a great way to end a day of hiking in the White Mountains.
