Good and cozy for family
clean and nice hotel with good facility (e.g., pool, spa, and gym). The location may be troublesome depending on what one is looking for, cause there’s basically nothing in the area. But if you wish to stay in the hotel and relax and only occasional trip to nearby places, staying here would be wonderful. A little bummer is that I was told they didn’t have a king-sized bedroom and put me in a twin room, even tho I had booked a king-sized... and a Korean-looking lady at a spa clearly showed irritation when I was considering which service to take, and eventually made me to go back to my room, decide and come back again... (I was not so good at deciding tho, it was my vacation... and it would’ve been nicer if I hadn’t felt pressure to decide right away...) but overall experience was fine.

Weekend gateway.
Room is enough for couple staying in Batam. Location is about 15 to 20 mins away from the malls. Driver has to make a u turn to return back to the hotel and not ideal in a raining day or at night. Staff is friendly and helpful although breakfast on Sunday was chaotic. It was better managed on Monday.

Room dirty! Not cleaned everyday. Dirty hair inside the water pipe. Water can’t flushing it. Front desk staff used my credit card without my permission. I was so surprised my credit card was charged from the unknown person today morning when received the message from the card company.

i liked how sustainable the hotel is trying to be. Instead of offering bottled water to their guests, they gave us a huge water bottle with a tap connected to it, so we could fill the kettle and boil our water for drinking if needed. the room and facility are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, my companions and I found that the restaurant where we had our breakfast was somewhat lacking. the restaurant is open for breakfast from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.. and when we went down at 9 a.m., the buffet was about empty already. I can understand if it's 30mins before 10 am but not an hour. it's inexcusable. We went down at 8 a.m. the next day. The buffet was also, almost empty. cold cuts were empty, the porridge was already finished. the sausages and bacon were also gone. we asked for a top-up for the porridge and waited for the others to be topped up. but when they top up the porridge, it was cold. the miso soup that we expected to be hot, was lukewarm. the chefs and service staff should at least maintain the buffet and not leave empty pots and cold food for their guests to eat, especially not early in the morning. Dinner at La Bella Vita however, was excellent. The food was fast, the service was good and so was the ambience.

Hotel and Eska spa wellness staff are friendly and polite. However, it was my first time in batam, abit disappointed. I find the hotel room towels very very smelly. Please have all your towels change or maybe change the detergent as the strange smell was so pungent.Housekeeping can be more thoroughly check as toilet small dustbin is not cleared. Phone was down, front desk say will send someone up to check but didn't come. Location was a little out but gogek was not expensive to get around. Breakfast was just average. Had dinner at the restaurant where they served breakfast, food was not nice and the waiting time was looonnngggg with only 2 tables in the big restaurant.

Overall was ok except for the bathroom. There's only overhead shower and the water not flowing properly, also turning hot n cold even when i set it right. Quite a hassle to shower.. Informed reception but problem not fixed. Another issue is the breakfast area. Never have i encountered hotels whereby guests have to queue to get in for breakfast. Staff have been helpful trying to solve the issue but there seemed not much they can do.

Hotel was up to standard of a 5-star hotel. Great service from the hotel staff, they were all very friendly and nice. Room was super clean and comfortable, breakfast is okay but nothing special. Only downside would be the hotel’s location which is quite far from the city and the shuttle service requires booking in advance. Would highly recommend hiring a private driver if staying here.

I think this hotel has a lot of potential, considering the amazing views you get from the lake side-facing rooms, however, the sound proofing in the rooms is really, really bad. You can both hear a lot of traffic noise and everything that is happening in the adjacent rooms - you can hear every conversation in your neighbours' rooms even if they are talking at a normal volume. The room itself was a bit dirty and there was a half eaten cake in our fridge that hadn't been cleaned out. Breakfast was a bit bizarre as it was served in a conference room. The whole thing seemed a bit unorganised and there were very very few vegetarian options. Staff were really nice but I don't think I will be staying here again even though I really enjoyed the view from my room.

We had a great time! We stayed for 4 nights. We spent most days in the massive pool, and from 11am-3pm we had it all to ourselves which was amazing! Once the weekend came around though it was busier, but still not packed. Room was great, AC worked well! Hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful. Food was great! Especially at the restaurant on the 15th floor it’s a bit pricey but similar to North American prices at a nice restaurant. We ate lunch at the pool everyday and it was tasty too! Brisket pizza surprisingly good! Lunch for 2 and several beers was about $40. Would recommend people coming to batam to stay here for a nice relaxing stay!

Worst stay ever!
Service is very bad compared to pre-covid. I’ve been staying in this hotel everytime I come Batam, about 4-5 times a year. It’s a 5-star rated hotel. I have always stayed in a suite room. Previously there was complimentary high tea everyday of our stay, and a guest relations officer will knock on our door to say she will be taking care of our stay here. Now, there is no more complimentary high tea for us. But it’s ok, we wanted to order and pay for our high tea, but a whole bad experience awaits us. We went to the 15th floor bar to ask about it, and was told that it would be rp150,000 at Kayu Manis bar. The next day, we called recep to reconfirm that the high tea will be available at Kayu Manis bar and was told it’s a yes. When we went down to the bar, the lady there says there is no high tea available. We went to the reception counter, the staffs also informed us there is no high tea available. When we continued to probe (since we were told by the staff at 15th floor as well as premier assistance staff that it’s available), staff Fitri called the restaurant. After that, she apologised that she gave us the wrong information and that she thought we were referring to the FREE high tea! Even though I mentioned a staff told us it would be rp150,000! Insulting! Breakfast has very limited spread now. And main restaurant only serves Chinese food now. Western food have to go to the noisy bar with no proper tables to eat. Each order have to wait 40-60 mins before food arrives.

Lovely property, unfortunately very close to the road, couldn’t sleep at night because of the noise from outside and other guests, you can hear EVERYTHING, otherwise the hotel is nice.
