This is a quaint bungalow in the historic district of Bastrop one of the oldest towns in Texas. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Colorado river. Is about 20 minutes to Austin Airport and F1 race track, 30 minutes to downtown Austin. We have reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen and fridge. we have cable and wi-fi. we have instant hot water so you will not run out of hot water while you try out our fabulous walk in tub. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. All of our guest so far have said that the house is very conformable and homey. It has a driveway in front of the house and a front door entrance with a keypad lock that we can program in a custom four number code just for you. There is a Art Studio attached to the house. The private entrance to the Art Studio at the end of the hall is always locked.

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful property. Shortly after our arrival, our hostess was at the door to welcome us. She gave a quick but thorough overview of the property. Great mattresses, an abundance of bath towels, extra pillows, everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Well equipped kitchen if you want to eat in the rental. We recommend! NOTE: there was no winery experience included in the rental. Not sure why it’s in the review but it’s rated a five because I didn’t want to lower the rating on the rental.

Everything was comfy-cozy, a perfect place to stay while enjoying Bastrop. The hosts were very welcoming, and allowed me privacy to enjoy my time. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the town. I hope to visit Bastrop again, and would stay here, for sure. Be aware that there are steps to access the house, for those with mobility issues.

Amazing House ... Amazing Host

The host, Dani, met us when we first pulled up to the house. She and her husband live next door. She provided us with a couple of special instructions. We invited her in to show us what the instructions pertained to. She also provided us with some additional helpful information. We had a very nice chat with her. She made us feel right at home. Also, we were in town for a family wedding. Four houses were rented in total by family members. They all had issues. We didn't have a single one. And our house was by far the best!

Home away from home

I joked that this is my home away from home, but truthfully, it is the most wonderful place to stay anytime we are in Bastrop. The house is absolutely perfect and the couple who runs it is absolutely amazing. We truly have found a wonderful little jewel in this amazing little town.

What a Joy!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew we had made the best decision to book our stay here. Bastrop is a darling community, and this home welcomes you the moment you open its door. If you have an opportunity to meet the owners, you absolutely should make the time. They have broad knowledge and great ideas to share about the area. The labor of love and renovations put into this home are fascinating! There is so much to appreciate and adore about this property.

PHENOMENAL

I feel as though I made a new friend! Dani and Gary are amazing people and so welcoming and kind. Me, my best friend, my mom, and daughter (8 y.o.) stayed here for a dance competition and were able to relax and enjoy our "girls trip" when we weren't at the arts center. Everything is centrally located and the accommodations were excellent. If I could design my dream house this would be it! Thank you for sharing a piece of your life and your heart & soul with us. We will always remember this!

stay in the heat

There needs to be more information about the walk in tub for those of us who are newbies. Also, the water temperature for the shower are in the opposite places. The trash can cabinet could be labeled to make it easier to find. safety bars would also be a great addition for those of us who are advanced in years or handicapped.

I’m hooked on this property, and you will be too!

I’m an aficionado of vacation rentals, since I no longer book hotel stays, and everything I seek in a home (relaxation, modern and luxurious accommodations, quaint appeal), homey feel, spaciousness, adequate linens, climate control, and MORE is at my fingertips here at “Reimagined”. I won’t stay anywhere else unless this one is booked already. It’s perfect for a couple plus 2 additional adult guests, a family of 4, or 4 girls trip excursion group members. The hosts are the best people you’ll ever meet! Great to be a part of the “Reimagined” family! I will be back!

The best VRBO for feeling right at home!

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate hosts Gary and Dani for being so welcoming and hospitable and for creating such an elegant space. You’ll love the amenities, including the soundproof walls. It’s whisper silent as you wind down for the day and snuggle up in the cozy living area with a nice cup of tea. The cleanliness and creative interior and exterior design of this modern update are unparalleled! You will soak up the beauty of the nuances like the stained glass elements and tastefully done five star master bathroom and closet. I wish that I could pack that bathroom up and bring it home! Book, and you will be happy and will add it to your favs!
