Welcome to 4 bedrooms house close to all amenities, restaurants, malls and groceries within walking distance. Downtown Barrie is just a short drive. House is located in North-end Barrie, close to Georgian College, Royal VIctoria Hospital, Downtown and Lake Simcoe. Wasaga beach, Collingwood and Blue Mountain are only 30-45 minutes away.

Whether you are visiting family and friends or a family vacation, weekend getaways, retreats, conference, meeting, wedding, birthday party, family reunion, or romantic getaways, this house is perfect for family and group gatherings.

Guess will have access to the entire house including basement. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor and one bedroom plus rec room / office in the basement. In the backyard, there is a large deck, privacy backyard and no neighbors at the back. You can enjoy barbecuing, entertaining and relaxing in the backyard.

House has essential needs for your comfortable stay: Wifi, TV, Netflix, AC and Workspace. Bathroom has soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Linens and towels are also provided. Updated kitchen has stove, fridge, dishwasher, pots and pans, knives, utensils, silverware, plates, bowl, personal coffee maker, microwave and kettle.

Please note there is only parking for 2 cars in the driveway and there is no access to garage.

Quiet spacious house in Barrie

The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and clean, the bathrooms clean, and the water was good and hot. The kitchen was "bare bones" without even salt and peper. As we were cooking at home, we brought everything we needed, but didn't expect to find no salt and pepper, or even a little oil. The host was very responsive, and had already arranged for a maintenance person to fix something the cleaning person identified while preparing for our visit. They were very quick to respond and looked after the identified problems.Despite being close to a shopping plaza and Hwy 400, the house was very quiet at night.

Basic but comfortable

Our host, Lenny, was very responsive and helpful—he answered messages quickly and gave us great tips on local stores and even traffic updates when we were leaving.The house looked like the photos but was quite basic, as other reviews had mentioned. It was surface clean, though it could use a deeper clean in some areas. The beds were comfortable, which was a big plus. The backyard, while nice to have, was a bit overgrown and could use some attention. Nice sunshine on the deck throughout the day. The living room setup was a bit limited for a four-bedroom house—there was just one couch that seated three people, which felt a little tight when we were all trying to relax together. A few more seating options would make the space much more comfortable for larger groups. There was the option to watch TV downstairs also. We also found the kitchen quite minimally stocked. The pots were great, but the frying pans need to be replaced, We had to purchase baking sheets and other basics. We were visiting our son in college and hoped to do a bit of home cooking, so this was a bit of a challenge.The location was very close to the college, where we spent most of our time. Despite some road construction on the street, the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet overall. We were a little uneasy at first after witnessing a theft at a nearby grocery store on our first afternoon, but thankfully it didn’t affect the rest of our visit. TIP: The floors are cold bring slippers.

Freezing downstairs and a sauna upstairs

I told Lenny twice that we were requiring a place to stay for our son’s wedding. Mentioned the groomsmen would be coming to the location for pictures inside and out. The lawn in the backyard had tall weeds and the grass had not been cut for sometime. Our family downstairs froze and the windows had no screens to let warm air in. Upstairs was like a sauna and again no screens to let air in.

A great house for our getaway!
