「Was more than expected. The size of the apartment was excellent and the kitchen size and facilities were fabulous.」

「We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.」

「Excellent accommodation & communication. We had faulty toaster which was immediately replaced. Wonderful to have a proper coffee machine, bread, fresh fruits! Incredible bath & bed. We loved this place & will book again 」

「Very convenient location, walking distance to the town. The kitchen is well equipped for doing light meals. The bed is very comfortable and overall the unit is clean. Overall a satisfactory stay if you’re prepared to overlook a couple of issues. However, the freezer section of the fridge was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the unit, possibly cooking smells from the adjoining unit which had a door, also every noise from that unit could be heard.. 」

「Great two night stay in a beautifully presented property close to Peter Lehman (we were there for A Day on the Green). The only minor drawback for us, which I didn't pick up on when reading the description was that the accommodation was a studio (kitchen, dining, living and bedroom all in one), and the kitchen was limited to microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster (any washing up was done in bathroom), but for a short stay this isn't a big issue at all. 」

「In Adelaide for family event, 5 adults and one teenager. Quiet neighbourhood. Very close to supermarkets and cafes and other places we needed to visit. Nicely presented, host quick to respond to questions. 」

「Beautiful cottage with all the facilities. 」

「We were blown away by the attention to detail, the host went way above and beyond what is expected from a short term rental. Sour doe bread and butter, complimentary wine, some cured meats juice, breakfast stuff etc. Really pleasant to just arrive and be able to get stuck immediately into our wine discovery weekend.」
