Hotel proche mer escapade

Chambre TB, propreté parfaite, confort lit +++. Repas bons mais un manque de simplicité (on n'a pas tjs envie de manger façon "restaurant recherché" systématiquement). Des plats tout simples seraient bienvenus. Cuisine inégale. Très bonne comme médiocre : dommage, buffet comme carte/menu. Finalement restaurant assez cher / à la qualité.

We were expecting a much higher standard. The room was very small. Apart from the bedside lamp plugs, there was nowhere to charge any devices. The restaurant breakfast was fine but dinner was very disappointing which was particularly sad because we chose to go there because of the good restaurant.

séjour de 3 nuits dans une chambrette donnant sur la plage ; literie confortable mais la chambre est minuscule ; salle de bains pas chauffée : on doit ouvrir la porte pour bénéficier du chauffage de la chambre ; connexion wifi impossible avec le téléphone, laborieuse avec l'ordinateur (demandez un cable à l'accueil)

Chambre petite mais très bien agencée, propre et bien décorée. Restaurant de très bonne qualité et petit déjeuner copieux. Personnel très accueillant et serviable.

Nous y retournerons

Super chouette ! Nous avions la même chambre que l’an dernier et avons pu apprécier la nouvelle deco des bars et salon, vraiment très jolie. On retrouve le bon goût de Mme de Mello. Les repas étaient savoureux et la 1/2 pension nous permettait de choisir dans les entrées, plats et desserts du menu le plus cher à 36,50€ ! Cela mérite d'être Souligné car en général avec la 1/2 pension vous avez droit à une entrée, plat et dessert imposés. Le repas du réveillon était délicieux et le personnel était aussi très aimable et prévenant. Bref un excellent séjour , sans oublier la situation, face à la mer ce qui nous a permis d’apprécier la mer’ en furie ! Merci à tous.

Couldn't be closer to the beach

We were really pleased to get a room with a balcony. The view from the room was amazing. The pool was lovely (and heated!). But... the room and bathroom were VERY small with no 'extras' like tea and coffee facilities included, which made it very expensive for what you got. No hotels nearby with that view so I guess that's the USP that adds the £££.

Cozy and classy, boutique hotel!

This was a fantastic, cozy little hotel right on the beautiful west coast of the Cherbourg peninsula. My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It had a very boutiquey feel, the decor was very nice, and we felt right at home. Their house Bordeaux wine was incredible!

On the beachfront

Lovely hotel. Nice room with balcony & chairs and table. Very nice lounge and bar areas. Restaurant decor nice & the food was fair (some courses were overpriced in my opinion) , our waitress seemed uninterested hence we only ate there once during our stay.

Quelques jours à Barneville très sympathiques. Bel hôtel en bord de plage, calme et bien décoré. Quelques petites attentions auraient été appréciées au regard du standing de l'hôtel: bouilloire dans la chambre, coffre fort personnel par exemple. En bord de plage, un petit étendoir à serviettes serait également un belle idée. Très bon séjour tout de même.

chambre disponible à partir de 16h00, nous avons eu une mini chambre mansardée au 3ème étage (sans ascenseur) au même prix qu'une chambre spacieuse au 1er avec terrasse. Petite fenêtre donnant sur le côté de l'hôtel avec vue indirecte sur plage. Mini salle bain avec douche,sans baignoire, mal ventilée et odeur désagréable. Heureusement le restaurant offre copieux buffet au petit dej, lunch et dîner. un bar et un patio pour patienter quand il pleut.

J'ai offert ce séjour à ma fille et son conjoint, ils sont un peu déçus concernant le rapport qualité prix, la chambre et la salle d'eau sont petites et de plus le store ne fonctionne pas et dans toutes les chambres c'est pareil, la vue est sympa, mais on s'attend à mieux pour le prix.

Chambre trop petite

Le personnel est charmant, l'hôtel a tout pour plaire. Mais la chambre est vraiment trop petite. Située au dernier étage, entièrement mansardée, elle ne fait pas de cadeau aux grands ! Gare aux bosses ! C'est bien dommage. Le reste est quasi sans fausse note, à part la brioche de petit déjeuner pas complètement décongelée.
