"We verbleven 3 nachten in de studio die prima is bij mooi weer en kort verblijf. Voor een week was het voor ons toch iets te klein en het weer was iets minder. Ook sliep ik erg slecht op de matras. We konden voor de laatste 4 nachten probleemloos (uiteraard tegen bijbetaling) overboeken naar een van de lofts. De douche in beide is fantastisch, de ruimtes zijn simpel maar leuk ingericht. Veel bergruimte in de kledingkast. Helaas ook in de loft slecht geslapen op de matras maar verder een heel...

"We had a delightful stay at Casa El Tan. Our host Maria was very friendly and welcoming and very generous in hospitality leaving us frequent baskets of fresh blueberries and even making us a delicious traditional rice pudding. The property was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely large secured garden in which our dog could run free. " Not sure where to start because everything about this hotel deserves five stars. If you want to experience some tranquility in your busy life this is the place to stay. The views, the food and the attentive service of the staff was amazing. We were extremely impressed with the decor and design of our room and the entire hotel. Using ordinary objects to create functional pieces of art was inspiring. Thank you to Tomas the owner and his staff for a wonderful experience. It is not often that you can sleep with the windows open with the breeze of pure mountain air."

"The double room was fairly basic but finished to a very high standard and included a lovely shower. The hotel is located on beautiful grounds in front of the casino and cinema and conveniently located in the centre of town. There is no dining in the evening but there are a few nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good and reasonably priced. This is a recommended stay."

"Lovely new, modern albergue right on the trail at the top end of Salas town. Beds are well-spaced in the shared rooms and each comes with it's own locker, shelves, reading light and charging socket. The floor to ceiling windows offer lovely views of the surrounding area and let a lot of light into the room. Toilets and shower facilities are spotlessly clean and there are washing facilities and plenty of space to hang washing. There's an on-site bar and restaurant, where they serve a pilgrim meal every eve. Breakfast is also available for a fee. This was one of my favourite albergues on the Camino Primitivo 🙂"
