Regarding your comments about the room, the inconvenience of being a hotel recognized as historical monument is that some rooms may constrain in terms of space. I apologize if it caused any inconveniences during your stay. Next time you are in Barcelona I would recommend you to discover our Grand Terrace Suites to enjoy extra space, a bathtub and a terrace that will create an oasis in the middle of the city.
I hope you could enjoy the location of our hotel at the heart of Barcelona and that you could discover the invigorating sites the hotel is surrounded by. Moreover, I hope you had the chance to discover Palau Güell, which is one of the first creations of Antoni Gaudí thanks to our Unlock Art Programme, which grants complimentary access to our guests.

We stayed 5 nights at Le Meridian. Our room was clean and comfortable. I loved having the mirror above the desk. That was a big help with getting ready and had good lighting. The hotel is in a great location. Bartender Mariano made a great old fashioned!

Room sizes in Europe always seem a bit inadequate compared to the US but that’s just a continent thing.
If possible travelers should get a room away from La Ramblas and as high as possible. It gets quite noisy at night but that’s just the location - you should expect some of it. But the convenience of being there is great.
Hotel in general was fine. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful.
I would recommend it as long as you are comfortable with the above.
