The location was charming, but the room was very tiny. We never saw anyone. It was also hard to find at night, and hard to get in. Our host was very nice, through messaging. It was late when we arrived, yet he responded to my messages right away and we got in.

Stayed here so we would be close to Montserrat. Easy to park and then drive to the top the next morning. Great accommodations with the “Hostel” feel but a private bathroom. Property owner reached out on WhatsApp to make sure our rooms would be ready and configured for our arrival. Would stay again for sure!

Very nice
We really liked this place, clean, calm. Nice mountain village and friendly owners! The only drawback was that the restaurant that was a part of the hotel was closed, but there was a good restaurant at a walking distance.

Very convenient for the Monastery funicular. Hosts were helpful and the room was comfortable and clean, although you could hear the neighbours. I was really grateful for the fridge for fruit and to store drinks.

The renovated room featured beautiful wood trim, great shower, and a spectacular view of the monastery atop the mountains. Parking was steps away from the front door and modern elevator. Wifi worked well. Complimentary juice, tea, coffee and muffins. Short walk to cafe. Very quiet and clean. A/C good. Highly recommended!

Ok hôtel. Clean but nobody on the site. You have to contact them through phone to get a code in order to access your room and facilities. Polite and courteous service though.

Affordable, great location, clean rooms, air conditioning. Didn’t like initial means of getting into the rooms but that may have been a communication issue. Was surprised that there wasn’t any restaurant. Expedia info shows a restaurant (looked permanently closed), outdoor patio (locked). Very bare bones. Still it met our needs.

Pere was a great host. He contacted me before my arrival and provided instruction to check in and where to park. He also offered helpful travel tips. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location to visit Montserrat. Plan to eat in the restaurant, the food is great.

2 nuits à monistrol de Montserrat
Nous avions séjourné dans cet hotel il y a 5 ans et avions été pleinement satisfaits. Aujourd'hui cet établissement ne correspond plus en rien à la description faite sur ce site ni aux photos. Pas d'accueil. Plus de restaurant. Le petit déjeuner doit être pris sur le palier. (Voir photos). Bien que propre la chambre est très petite et mal meublée et ne correspond en rien aux photos du site ni à celle que nous avions eu il y a 5 ans. Hotel finalement hors de prix pour la qualité de la prestation. A EVITER ABSOLUMENT

GREAT hotel!
Great hotel! Really good service, and a nice friendly host. Very good food at the restaurant, good beer, good vine, very fast wifi, clean room, super nice shower/toilet. We had our dog with us, and they were so sweet with him, He was really welcome. All in all we had 2 wonderful days and nights there.

The host was very friendly & helpful. The entrance access road to the town was closed for festival celebration & he came to entrance to guide us to the hostel. There is a trail walk going up to Montserrat monastery near the hostel. It was a tough & challenging walk especially the last 45min to the top that we were not prepared for. But we are glad we did it! There seem some upgrading done inside the apartment with rooms relatively new. The reno seem still in progress & the lift is not available for use. We had to carry our luggage down 3 lvl. The bathroom was renovated but there was no drainage outlet on the floor other then shower cubicle area so water flow out from shower cubicle & clog up on the floor that we had to clean up after shower. Typical hostel so do not expect noise insulation from next room. Hostel kitchen was closed in the morning bcos of long weekend but our host was very kind to have hosted our breakfast at nearby bar before we hit the road. Overall, it is a decent place to stay.

Nous sommes arrivés tardivement et avons réservé au dernier moment, pour autant, l’accueil était parfait ! Nous avons été pris en charge de suite, le monsieur parle français, c’est vraiment un plus. Nous avons aussi dîné dans le restaurant, c’était très très bon. Le personnel de l’établissement nous a conseillé pour la visite du Montserrat, Ambiance vraiment familial :) Je recommande vraiment l’hôtel ! Fint sted tæt på toget op til klostret. Værelset vat ok, men en smule fugtigt og knap så hyggeligt. Morgenmaden var super og der var alt hvad man kumne ønske. Vi spise på deres restaurant om aftenen, maden vsr ok, men måske en smule dyr i forhold til hvad man fik.

Simple accommodations, but very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food & wine for dinner. Breakfast is included, but pretty basic. Had a nice view of the mountain from room. Shower was hot. Beds were OK -- I slept well! Hotel is about 20 minutes' walk (some of it uphill) from train station. The hiking trail up to the Monastery, as well as some other trails, are very close by. A beautiful area.
