The location of the apartment is fantastic to visit and enjoy Barcelona,it is in the city center, and after that, you can have a comforting rest with your children or your partner because it´s incredibly quiet.

It is a top-floor flat with elevator in a typical building of the beautiful 'Ensanche'.
It's very well located. The main tourist sites are situated at a 20-minute-walk from the apartment. (5-10 minutes by underground)
It's perfect to go to Barcelona Fair or Congress (5 min. walking)

The airport is at a 15-minute-drive.
High-Speed Train Station (AVE station) is situated at 10 minutes from the apartment.

Raul is the kindest, most gracious host. He made a great vacation become a fantastic trip. The apartment is beautiful and well maintained. And don’t forget about the rooftop terrace for breakfast!

Our 1st visit to Barcelona was amazing, an absolutely stunning city with wonderful places to see, huge variety of things to do and fabulous food and wine. Our stay was made all the more special by the wonderful hospitality of our host Raul, from picking us at the airport, giving us a quick tour of the city, the welcome basket of fruit and wine to providing us with invaluable maps and recommendations of restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries etc. We felt really well looked after by Raul, he definitely goes above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. The apartment is lovely, in a really good location, has everything you need with the added bonus of a roof terrace. We would highly recommended staying here and we will hopefully visit again one day soon.

Comfortable quiet apartment

Thanks to the wonderful and warm owner couple, I had no worries during my stay in Barcelona. The interior of the apartment was so relaxing that I felt like I was staying at a relative's house. Wonderful stay in Barcelona!

My husband and I spent 5 night's at Raul and Carmen's apartment. It is very clean, well equipped and located within a 20-40 minute walk of all major attractions - for those who don't want to walk, the public transportation is close by, inexpensive and very efficient.The owners are extremely kind and helpful and go above and beyond to ensure their guests are well taken care of. Grand Stay in Barcelona

Our host, Raul, couldn’t have been better. After a long flight from Chicago, he greeted us at the airport and took us directly to our VRBO. We got all settled just before the country-wide blackout, but this worked to our advantage. Got a sandwich from a local shop, had lunch on the rooftop with the fruit and wine Raul provided. We then slept to get over our jet-lag and by morning the power was back. Our stay was perfect and the location offered plenty of local restaurants recommended by Raul and was easy to get around to all the sightseeing spots. Perfect for an extended stay in Barcelona.

Great location and excellent hosts

It was wonderful to be in a location with so much available by walking. Raul gave us a map of the area with recommended restaurants which we enjoyed immensely. He was extremely helpful. He even picked us up at the airport. He was also very good with communication before we arrived. When we had questions, he did his best to answer in a timely manner. The apartment is as pictured. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was at night. We felt at home. I highly recommend!

Great Stay

The owners, Raul and Carmen, bent over backwards to ensure our stay was trouble free. They were personable and were a large part of why our stay in such a beautiful city as Barcelona and our viewing of the America’s Cup racing was as good as it was. The property was well located within walking distance of the Barcelona subway system. Best of all, the Panet bakery was right across the street which ment we had warm bread every morning. My wife and I can’t wait to come back!!!

Family first to Spain

This was our first trip overseas with our two adult children. We chose this place bc of the reviews on VRBO. Every wonderful review was deserved and truthful. Raul was beyond kind and helpful to people who do not speak the language and needed some guidance. The apartment was perfect for our family and our needs and the location was amazing. Just as promised

As all of the previous reviews have mentioned, Raul went over and beyond as the host of this clean and well located property. We could walk most anywhere in the city we wanted to go. Montjuic is easily walkable within 25 min for example. The roof top terrace is a lovely perk though we used it less due to the time of year we were there. We would definitely stay here again, we had a fabulous time!

Wonderful apartment and balcony

Our host was wonderful. He picked us up at the airport and showed us around the city for a bit. The hosts provided us with a welcome fruit basket and starter coffee/tea… Raul had made maps of how to take public transportation and where local restaurants were. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated our gracious hosts.

Great apartment and a very helpful host!

Our stay could not have been better. Raul picked us up at the airport and gave us a lot of helpful information. The fridge had milk, juice, wine and a couple of beers! Delicious fruit basket too! If I ever return to Barcelona, I hope I can stay here.

Great stay in Barcelona

Raul and Carmen were amazing hosts-it was like visiting family. Raul picked us up at the airport and gave us an orientation of the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment was perfect for our family and was comfortable, having everything we needed and more. Location was good and the public transportation was easy to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this homey apartment. It was a good base from which to explore Barcelona. The apartment had everything we needed to refresh ourselves and self cater. The terrace was delightful for relaxing over a glass of wine. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we felt warmly welcomed and comfortable. Raul picked us up from the train station and showed us his neighbourhood so we orient ourselves quickly. The hamper was such a surprise! Never have we been so happy to arrive in a city! Hopefully we can return one day.

Celebrating a big birthday in style

Amazing apartment, superb hosts, perfect location. Had the most wonderful time celebrating a big birthday in Barcelona. From collecting us from the airport, providing a lovely introductory tour, tips on where to visit/buy things, Raul made us feel so welcome which made the visit even more special. Highly recommend! We’re definitely coming back in the future.
