Clean and people makes you feel welcome

The place is not huge so they make you feel very welcome like they know you from before. It is very clean and provide locker room and shampoo, tea for free. The personnel is super friendly and provide great recommendations for your trip.

Detailed Considerations

I liked how they attached the upper bed bedframe to the wall not to the underbed so that it doesn't startle the whole bed when going up and down the bed. I could see how precisely they care the customers.

Nos encantó el hotel, al entrar a la habitación quedamos encantados con todo el entorno, el personal fue super agradable, es muy céntrico, hay muchos restaurantes, esta cerca de muchas atracciones, realmente es lo recomendamos mucho.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour dans cette auberge de jeunesse accueillante et confortable. Pas de petit déjeuner, c’est dommage mais on peut en prendre un dans les boulangeries et cafés environnants pour 2€. Très bien située et propre.

Magnifique séjour à la Casa Kessler

J'ai passé une semaine à Barcelone et vraiment apprécié mon séjour à la Casa Kessler où je me suis sentie comme à la maison. J'ai logé en chambre de 6 filles. Les lieux sont bien entretenus et les lits sont faits tous les jours. Maintenant, la propreté des communs dépend beaucoup des résidents qui, parfois, ne sont peut-être pas conscients qu'ils vivent en communauté, idem pour les allées et venues dans les chambres... Il vaut mieux s'équiper d'une paire de boule quies et d'un masque de nuit pour éviter les réveils intempestifs :) Le plus de l'hôtel est quand même son agréable terrasse (je suggère néanmoins quelques petits lampions pour le soir :)) et le fait qu'il y ait plein de bons restaurants dans la rue. L'hôtel propose également la location de vélo. J'en ai loué un pendant 3 jours et ça m'a permis de découvrir la ville dans tous ses recoins et sans tracas. Merci d'ailleurs à Miguel qui me l'a remonté chaque soir avec le sourire :) Merci à tout le personnel et à Orio pour cet agréable séjour. Je reviendrai sans hésiter si je repasse à Barcelone ! Pour le petit déjeuner, je recommande vivement la petite boulangerie 'Padaria' au coin.

The best hostel!

I would definitely recommend Casa Kessler. It’s located in a beautiful and central district. The staff is super friendly - honestly the best! The decor is pretty and the place is kept very clean. There’s a nice terrace area with pretty plants where you can chill in the sun or the shade as you wish. I had 5 nights there and I would love to go back. 4인실 썼는데 매일 자리도 정리해 주시고 좋았어요 단지 위치는 좀 별로..람블라스 거리랑 좀 멀어서 걸으면 20분 정도는 걸렸던것같고 근데 비니투스랑은 가까워서 가기좋음! 공용 욕실인게 조금 불편. 샤워실에 불이 없어서 엄청 어둡던데 전등이나 좀 달아줬으면....여튼 개인적으로 저녁먹으러 그리고 쇼핑 가기 좋았어요 아 스태프들 친절한건 말할것도 없이 너무 친절! 영어 잘 통하고~

Magnificio emplazamiento

Es un lugar magnifico para visitar Barcelona. Las instalaciones son magnificas, la terraza espectacular, el salon, la cocina y las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas a pesar de ser reducida. Yo nunca he estado en un lugar tan peculiar como este, en mis viajes a Barcelona. Lo recomiendo a todos

Nice place could be better

A bit disappointed for not having our room cleaned during our 3 night stay, we had to ask for fresh towels. Also had to request to check out at 11 as they expect you to leave by 10 am. They don't hold your luggage in case you have a late flight like we had. We had to walk around with our suitcases. The location is great near shops, bars and restaurants.

La habitación de tres personas es muy pequeña e incómoda, por el precio que pagas no tienes derecho a toalla, tienes que pagar dos euros por cada una, tienen unos apartamentos en los pisos superiores con una tarifa más alta que si son muy buenos y tienen todos los servicios. Lo mejor de este establecimiento primero es su ubicación, está muy cerca al paseo de gracia y a estaciones del metro que te llevan a cualquier sitio Barcelona, A sus alrededores hay innumerables presiones para desayunar, almorzar o cenar también muchísimos sitios para tomarse una copa. Y lo segundo y más importante para mi,La calidez, amabilidad y disposición del personal que lo atiende, desde que llegas están dispuestos ayudar en todo lo que tenga que ver con la movilización en la ciudad y con consejos muy útiles sobre sitios para conocer lugares para comer.

Great , Convenient with Awesome staff

This is a great choice ! Clean, Close and Convenient. Check in was easy and they held our bags until the room was ready. Great out door patio.., living room and fully equipped kitchen with fridge . They even make and provide coffee. Rooms are basic and comfortable . Ours was main floor ( thanks as we are older and stairs ?? ) Bathrooms and showers clean and always available only negative is renting a towel for 2 E , just raise the price a bit and provide a towel ! Staffers very friendly and helpful.. Marta was awesome and Miguel even helped me make train reservations. Suggested Restaurant Bosque Palermo, 2 blocks for fabluous Paella and Tapas , went back twice. Easy walk and access to Calle Valencia and busses and Metro to sites . We did hop on/ off which works so well with so many things to see. Sagrada Familia by Guadi is a must also check out Mont Sajic and Olympic 1992 sites . Reserve Casa Kessler in advbance as they sell out !

It was sad having to leave this hostel!

This is the best hostel I've ever been and with such a decent price! I honestly had to book one night here just because another hostel disappointed me so much with their dirty bathroom, but my trip was totally saved by Casa Kessler! I had such a pleasant time here with a very comfortable premium bedding, free fresh towel, very clean bathroom, and a cherry on top of everything: a stylish and chic furniture setting that makes this hostel look more like a boutique hotel, not a low budget hostel at all! The staffs were amazingly sweet and very helpful. I'll certainly come back here if I have a chance and recommend this place to all my friends! Thank you once again for such a wonderful stay.
