Dear Yuqing,Thank you for taking your time to share your experience in Be Mate Paseo de Gracia.All of our team is very happy to see that you enjoyed our centric location and the attention of our staff.In Be Mate, we take very serious the cleaning of the apartments and we make sure that all the linen is in the best status, that is why our housekeeping manager supervise them daily to double check them before handing them out.Regading your luggage, in our building we do not have a lot of storage space. In your particular case, you were a group of 3 big apartments with a lot of luggage that exceeded our capacity. Therefore it was in the reception area supervised by us as we are here all the time in front of them, completely secured. This is an extra service that we are giving to our guests completely for free.For us it has been a fantastic pleasure hosting all of your group and we really hope that you enjoyed Barcelona as much as we do. This area is in the city centre of Barcelona which as any other place you have to take care of your belongins specially if you are in a terrace with your bag.Regarding your reservation, we have rooms and apartments. In your case you had a room but we always recommend to have an apartment if you are bringing a lot of luggage. In summertime there is a lot of humity in Barcelona and this is an old building from the 1901. Could be that the sewage left some hedor due to the high temperature of these days, but in any case our housekeeping team has already work on that. It might be something of this exact apartment.
