The pictures don't lie in the ads, it's a wonderful view on a beautiful city from the porch of this apartment.
The place was clean, the bed was really good and everything that was supposed to work, worked.
I was warned in advance about having a car in Barcelona, but I didn't listen. The rental car was cheap by the week but I paid much more to park it in a garage at a nearby hospital. We used it for one day to go to Costa Brava and it spent the rest of the time resting quietly in spot 1076. And in general, driving in Barcelona is tough for Americans. The lanes are tight and the bikes and motorbikes play dodge-em with you. Don't get a car, just walk and taxi.
I would have given this place 5 stars, but there were some hiccups with some kitchenware, etc., that we needed to supply ourselves. The owners were super responsive after the fact and have offered to reimburse us for what we needed to buy, but it made using the kitchen a problem for the first couple of days.
