Welcome to Serenity Escape! This beautifully upgraded second-floor condo features a private balcony and modern, elegant decor, making it the perfect getaway for couples. Enjoy cozy evenings by the wood-burning fireplace (please remember to bring your own firewood!) and unwind in the inviting open-plan kitchen and dining area, equipped with all- stainless steel appliances. With classy mountain touches throughout and a comfortable couch to relax on, you’ll feel right at home.

**Things to Do in Beech Mountain:**
1. **Skiing and Snowboarding:** Experience the thrill of the slopes at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, just a short drive away, perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
2. **Hiking and Nature Trails:** Explore the stunning hiking trails in the area, including the Emerald Outback, where you can immerse yourself in nature and enjoy breathtaking mountain views.
3. **Mountain Biking:** During warmer months, tackle exciting mountain biking trails that cater to all skill levels, offering an adrenaline rush and beautiful scenery.
4. **Local Breweries and Dining:** Discover the local dining scene and sample craft beers at nearby breweries for a taste of the region’s culinary offerings.
5. **Seasonal Events and Festivals:** Check out local events and festivals throughout the year, showcasing the vibrant culture and community spirit of Beech Mountain.

**Important Information:**
- **Vehicle Requirements:** In case of inclement weather, an all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is recommended for your safety. Snow chains may be necessary, so please plan accordingly.
- **Check-In Details:** Check-in is available anytime after 4 PM. We are on hand to address any issues until 9 PM, so for a hassle-free experience, we recommend checking in before that time.
- **Ongoing Construction:** Please note that there is ongoing construction in building 3. We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the property.
- **Towel Policy:** We provide bath towels, but not pool towels. If you plan to use the resort amenities, please remember to bring your own pool towel.
- **Pool Maintenance:** The pool and all amenities will be closed for yearly maintenance in April. VoyagePad cannot guarantee the reopening timing, as we do not manage these facilities.
- **Returned Items Policy:** A $25 fee plus shipping will apply for any returned items.

Great Place for a Family Reunion
My wife and I stayed at the unit as part of a family gathering. The unit was comfortable, nicely decorated, and very clean. The host was very responsive. From our balcony we observed plenty of deer and saw a bear with 4 cubs walking along the edge of woods. There is a portable AC unit in the bedroom, but it was more of an obstruction than helpful. It was plenty cool with just the window and balcony door open, even in August.

Quick getaway
This was exactly what we needed for our trip to Beech Mountain for a summer concert. It is conveniently located to the ski resort. We have stayed at this complex before - it is somewhat run down but this unit is remodeled with a well appointed kitchen. It’s small, but was fine for the two of us.

Location of this place is awesome. So close to Fred’s for breakfast and bullwinkles for dinner. My son and I came up and did some hiking on grandfather mtn. We brought our pickleball set and played on the courts. The place is clean and had everything I needed. Thanks for an amazing but too short vacay.

We attended a wedding at the Overlook Barn so this was a great location for our stay. This was a cute efficiency unit with a very small bedroom, but fine for a short stay. My only complaint was the flimsy cheap bedding, but the bed itself was very comfortable.

Clarity with the Listing
It should've been noted the bldg was being remodeled. Externally it was in poor condition. Inside the unit was great. Pots & pans needs to be replaced.

Mixed Bag
The location of this unit and resort is great. Town activities near by, eating places available, hiking trails with waterfalls and lake not too far away. Unit was very nice and desirable in appearance but the exterior of the buildings shows lots of wear and tear. In dire need of painting for decks, steps, and pickets as well as other structures with peeling paint. The outdoor carpet is worn, tattered, dirty, and is very unappealing in general and especially when wet.
