Cute rustic cabin in the woods but very close to the ocean. Extremely peaceful and very clean. A knob on the stove was broken and some of the chairs around the dining were very wobbly so you had to be very careful and not let an elderly sit in the wobbly chair. But overall was a very good stay.

It was a great mixture of the outdoors and the ocean. Minutes away from nice beaches and downtown bandon. Plenty of hiking and biking trails. Only bummer was we couldn’t have a campfire during Oregons “fire season”. The cabin was just as it looked in the pictures. It was a good stay all around. I recommend it.

We loved the ambience of the cabin and the location. But we really wished there was better maintenance and supplies: lights flickered on and off or didn't work, at all , stove burners were unsafe and the 5 of us were supposed to get along with 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days . When we asked Vacasa fot more TP and light bulbs , they refused . We found that rather petty. Though we enjoyed ourselves , we would have apprecited a bit more attention to details

We got to the property after 10pm and left promptly the next morning to find another place to stay. There were flies and gnats in the cabin, killed a few, then gave up. We paid for 3 nights and only stayed one. I am not sure what could be "updated" as the description says, it is all pretty old. In my opinion, shouldn't be rented, especially at the listed price. Communication with Vacasa was terrible and will not rent another property managed by them.

My husband & I stayed a week in this cozy cabin. It was ok not to be on the beach for this trip b/c this cabin was extremely close to Bandon Dunes Golf (we mostly used the Dunes for easy trail walks and dining -- bfast & dinner at Pacific Grill, anniversary dinner at Ghost Tree). The cabin was also very close to the Whiskey Run bike trail system. Beach access is just down the road for sunsets. And, Bandon town is 10 mins away. The place is nothing fancy, yet comfortable. The front yard was perfect for our dog to play ball, etc. The cabin has all the basics, but it could use some cleaning (cob webs, un-vacuumed corners and under/around furniture, dirty windows, unemptied fireplace ash, etc.). The bathroom is spacious with its own wall heater that keeps the room toasty while showering ... which was needed because there was only enough hot water for a single short shower (which my husband & I negotiated - but a family of 4+ might struggle with). Note: The cabin floors aren't wood; rather it's carpet that looks like wood. I mentioned this is the case future guests have toddlers, dogs, etc. Overall, we loved spending a week amongst the tall trees in a quiet, private cabin.

On the Bandon Dunes property, about 1/4 mile from Sheepranch, this rustic cottage has great privacy and a beautiful setting. If you want 4 star amenities, this place isn't for you. But if you're looking for a place to just sleep between golf rounds, this cottage is ideal.

Very clean, comfortable cabin. Overall, well appointed with amenities. Close to a beautiful beach and only about 10 minutes from Bandon. Enjoyed our stay. Property is very quiet and relaxing.

This was our second stay at this property. We love the coziness and solitude of the cabin. It's close enough to Bandon for its conveniences but still remote enough for privacy. We hope to return soon!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sabala cabin. The cabin was peaceful and quiet and well stocked. It was great to be off the beaten path, but still be able to hear the ocean. The furniture was very comfortable. Overall it was a tremendous experience.

The property was not to the standard of other VRBO/VACASA properties I’ve used in the past. It has some draw backs. When we arrived there was no wood for the fireplace. After a call, wood was delivered the next morning but when we went to build a fire that evening there were no matches or a lighter. Next, upon arrival there was no water to the kitchen. We finally figured out the water had been turned off under the sink. Also, one of two large burners on the stove was broken and unusable. Although checkout procedures required we wash the dishes, we were supplied with a three ounce bottle of dish soap, one dish towel and no dish drainer. The kitchen is also carpeted. The bathroom is large but the shower is the size of a postage stamp with barely enough room to turn around. The heat registers are something out of the forties or fifties and made me a little concerned for safety. Overall I believe the place has a lot of potential if some upgrades were made and some attention to detail and guest experience became a priority. Despite these issues we enjoyed our experience, due to location, overall coziness, and of course time with family. Sabala is a diamond in the rough.

Everything about this place made us feel welcome. Check in was super easy. The large yard was a great place for our dog to run around and it was nice there was a gate into the property to help keep him from running out into the road. Inside the house was cute and definitely had that cabin feel. I would have liked welcome instructions on how to work things. We had trouble with the wood burning stove so it would have been nice if there were instructions on how to use it. Same with the lighting in and outside the cabin. Other then that everything was great. Bonus was that it was just minutes away from Bandon Dunes golf course and access to the beach We can't wait to come back again.

Exceeded our expectations immediately upon arrival! Most importantly, our dogs were as at-ease and comfortable in the cabin and the surrounding property. Really a gem - close to golf, mountain biking, the beach, road biking, and paddle boarding. The Sabala cabin simply felt homey and welcoming, and very private with the surrounding forest. We look forward to coming back in the future!

The main heater wouldn't work. Emailed, texted, called to try and get some help and never got a response from anyone. Communication with this owner was horrible.

Our stay was nice. The facilities were very comfortable. We looked for a notebook with directions and information on our stay & on checking out expectations, but there was none. We fumbled with the heat because we only saw the living room wall heater, and it wasn't until the second day that we found another dial in the hall. It would have been nice to have a map of the forested back roads and maps to Coos Bay and Bandon and lists of restaurants etc. I didn't see the suggestion to notify Vrbo when we checked out, until I got home 5 hours after leaving the property. So I'd say the house was a hit, but the Vrbo experience was very, very poor. Sorry. You asked.

The cabin is very comfortable but quaint. You really do feel like your in the middle of the woods but your not. Your right down the street from ocean access and there are neighbors near by. We enjoyed being outside and there are outdoor patio chairs and a bbq with picnic tables to use. This cabin allows dogs which is nice but there were so many dog droppings outside surrounding the cabin. We had to make a poop scooper and pick up as much as we can after our kids stepped in a few messes. This isn’t a cabin problem but a dog owner problem with them not picking up after their pet. Inside was warm and cozy feeling and surprisingly spacious. There are a few upgrades that have been made since the pictures of the cabin were taken and I think they added to the comfort. Our only issue was with the stove. It is on the older side and the knob to turn the front right burner on was broken off and misssing. This made cooking our meals a little inconvenient because we had to use the back large burner to cook and the oven on top made the space a little tight. Overall we really enjoyed this cabin and our kids LOVED this place. It’s rustic feeling but with modern amenities and it’s location is perfect. We hope to return soon.
