"Property was beautiful! Very peaceful and loved being on the creek. No cell reception which we honestly enjoyed. WiFi is available. Kitchen is well stocked. Communication from owner was great. Check in and check out was smooth."

"A quiet cabin at the end of a private drive... super secluded and NO through traffic. Perfectly located between West Jefferson, Boone and stunning Blowing Rock with nearby Moses Cone "Flat Top" home off the BRP.Lows in the low 50s and highs in the mid 70s in the middle of August! And wow, daily picture-perfect sunsets from the ridgeline overlooking a valley and Christmas tree farm. Be sure to be up around sunrise and watch the fawns & yearlings playing in the front yard. So amusing! Owner made contact before & during our stay (but not intrusive) just to make sure all was well... it wasn't... it was PERFECT! LOLThanks Paul for offering us your cabin for the week! Will certainly come back."

"We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant not yet being associated with the hotel was a little annoying. We could not charge to our room nor get room service. The property itself is very pleasant and the walking trail around the lake is nice."

"This place was great. It was right on the river, which was amazing. The outside deck and grill area was perfect. We brought some kayaks and were able to put in right in the front. I would definitely stay here again."

"This place was amazing! The camper was perfect for me and my son and husband were able to set up a 6 person tent right behind the covered deck. The creek is beautiful and clean. The whole place was beautiful and relaxing. Renee was very easy to work with and super accommodating!"
