素敵な体験でした
宿泊はバンガロータイプの部屋でしたが、設備やベッドも申し分なく快適に泊まれました。 到着がやや遅く、充実した施設の全てを楽しむことはできませんでしたが、ワゴンドライブやキャンプファイヤーなどは、本当にＴＨＥアメリカといった感じでとても楽しめました。

敷地も広く、様々と遊べるのでゆっくり滞在すると良いと思います。家族連れでも友達でもそれぞれ楽しめるアクティビティがあり、部屋も清潔にしてあり、タオルも多い。

Thank you for the feedback. The Historic Villas are not for everyone. It really depends on the person and situation. But the fact that they can sleep 6 people with a living room makes them very economical. I would suggest either an Executive Villa or a Suite next time. We have several different types of accommodations.

Me and my family loved staying here!! My kids had an amazing time. The cabins were very clean and had everything we needed. There’s so much to do for adults and kids. We will be coming back! Definitely recommend! 10/10.

Thank you for the feedback. I see you stayed in a second floor Ranch Suite during our busy Cowboy Mardi Gras weekend. If you'd like something more economical I would suggest a villa or cabin. Also, you can always request a downstairs unit but if it's a busy weekend those go pretty fast so it would be best to book early. We are already booking up quickly for 2025 Mardi Gras.

We stayed in an Apache cabin which was clean and comfortable, although the mattress was noisy when we shifted around. Evening campfires and wagon rides to feed the deer were still available even though we were there in the fall. It was somewhat inconvenient that we could not charge purchases or bar/restaurant charges to our room and had to carry cash or cards. It was disappointing that the golf course, driving range and putting green were all under construction, but we were aware of this going in and expect that the final results will be worth the wait. Pizza in the bar was delicious. It also seemed a little strange to us that there are personal homes scattered around the resort property.

The golf course is going to be amazing when we are done. Thank you for your patience! With a golf course it's not unusual to have houses around it but I understand how it can seem different. We stayed here to observe the eclipse on Oct. 14 and it was perfect for that. We were able to set up our telescopes on a huge expanse of lawn in front of the cabins. The cabins themselves are fine. They are log cabins, and ours was crammed with beds in order to sleep 4. It was rustic themed and very nice. The only bad thing was there was almost no light at night! Except for the bathroom there were only two dim lightbulbs. There was no way I could read a book. The coffee pot was very mediocre, as were the soap/shampoos. But it was adequate and we totally enjoyed the cabin. (I gave the property conditions only 3 stars because lots of attractions on the property were closed because they were redoing the irrigation system.)

I gave four stars because the amenities are good, biking, tennis, basketball, horse riding and walking trails. I booked the historic suite. The layout was bad! The front door opens to the primary bedroom. Lots of bugs were waiting to get in at night. The furnitures, bedding and towels are uniformly brown, making it hard to tell how clean or unclean they are, but the floor is definitely dusty because my socks turned black quickly. The Grill on-site has limited staff. We were sent to town for dinner at 8pm even though the grill was supposed to close at 10pm. Fortunately the town is 7 minutes away and a few restaurants open late. The ground of the resort is pleasant and quiet.

Thank you for the feedback. The Historic Villas are not for everyone but many people love them so I would suggest either an Executive Villa or a Suite for your next stay. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before each stay and we pride ourselves in offering guests great customer service. It was a very busy weekend with the solar eclipse. The restaurant was packed. We are currently remodeling our other restaurant which will have much more space to accommodate our guests when fully booked.

Lots of options here for family entertainment and things to keep the kids busy. Our cabin was clean and nice but would've like a more comfortable bench on the porch - ouch - and a more comfortable pillow. Otherwise, pretty good all around.

It's like a dude ranch / resort. Our room was small. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Squeaked every time we moved. For a resort there really wasn't much to do and the restaurant was closed. Pool was decent. I had hoped for more activities. I asked about upgrading upon arrival and was told they really couldn't because I booked through Expedia.

Relaxing at Flying L Apache cabins
First time at Flying L. It was conveniently located and easy to find. The cabin was perfect for just me, it is small - but sleeps 4. Clean and smelling good, quiet. Pool was relaxing, not crowded. Breakfast tacos in the restaurant were good. Perfect place for an overnight in Bandera.

We just stayed for a night do didn't use any of the amenities. Well kept grounds and would probably be super fun in prime season. Villa was perfect for our family and very clean. Would come back for another visit!

I'm sorry you were not satisfied with your room. I see that you booked a Fort Apache cabin which is our smallest unit. Perhaps next time you would be more comfortable in a Historic Villa or Getaway Suite. Thank you for the feedback and I will look into the bathroom heater. I have an idea to add a small shelf next to the bed since there's not enough room for night stands.

Very comfortable, everything was great very clean, very homey, loved the quietness of the doors. Loved the outdoor smoking area convenience. Loved waking up to horse neighing and Ducks and deer. Only negative thing was one bed was way high in the air. Kind of tall. But there was options. Wonderful place we will be back!

She apologized and spoke to the kitchen staff about it but did let me know the order was not forgotten. I'm so sorry about that. I think the timing was off with the eggs benedict.

Our stay was only overnight so a short one. We asked if our room could be changed to a downstairs room but to do so we’d have to pay an additional $30. Was challenging for my husband and I going up and down stairs. Make sure motorcycles don’t bother you because their are a lot of loud bikes

Thank you for the feedback. All of our suites have two levels and the first floor does get booked up very quickly. The room type you were in did not have any downstairs units available when you asked to be moved. The only available were in an upgraded suite, hence the upgrade fee. When booking in the future you can always request a downstairs unit and we can try to accommodate your request. There are two major biker rallies in Bandera per year and we get very booked up during these times. I hope this information helps for your future bookings.
