"It was okay very dated and nothing nearby except a busy road. No Swimming pool or facilities of any sort. Rooms were clean but Bed was hard. All in all could not expect any more for the very reasonable price so ideal for budget stay. Staff friendly And simple toast and cereal for breakfast on the patio ideal for our needs. "

"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. "Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this. "Very nice tourist hotel on a lovely beach in Ko Chang. Breakfast had good variety. I went in November nad the pool was too cold to swim but the ocean was warm. It was windy while I was there.. apparently common.. and Nov 28 the temperature plummeted to 68 and noone was on the beach! So beware if you go in winter.."
