An Amazing Hotel! Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, great hosts!! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore the Burren, go to the Cliffs of Moher or just have a unique Hotel experience!!

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed in the last year. Beautiful, comfortable and so very hospitable. Fabulous breakfast, special location and ice places to eat a five minute drive away. We sat by the fire each evening.

Wolfgang was incredibly friendly, and the overall decor and vibe was excellent. A great location in the hills with just a quick drive into the village for food. The full Irish breakfast spread was excellent as well!

It was close to the cliffs of Moher. The beautiful country setting with good signage for directing our days. It was about a hour from Galway but lots to see on the way in. We avoided the busyness of the city by staying at the Waters. Lots of parking, great breakfast. The owners were very welcoming. We would return. The character buildings were very beautiful. We felt like we were in a storybook.

Our only regret staying at the Waters was that we only booked one night! The setting and facilities were phenomenal, and our hosts took such good care of us. We stayed in the Granny Flat, so had our own little hideaway right next to the main building, giving us close access to the bar/lounge and spring, but plenty of privacy too. Had a fantastic full breakfast, and stopped by the nearby Newtown Castle at the Burren College of Art for a visit. Would recommend very highly and would love to go back...a truly special place to stay!

The only thing we regret about our stay was that it wasn’t longer. The property was beautifully maintained, the service was warm yet not overbearing, the room and amenities were fantastic, the views were stunning, the fresh proper breakfast was restaurant quality, and the self-service bar and holywell water were singular traveling experiences. Thank you Maria and Wolfgang for your thoughtful generous hospitality!

How to describe The Waters... in the best possible sense, it felt like going back in time. The photos on their website are very accurate but they cannot capture the essence of the place which is cosy, quaint and like nothing we have experienced before. The views are stunning, the staff warm and welcoming. A perfect stay.

We were met by Wolfgang, a very friendly, talkative chap, who showed us all around the common areas of the property and then to our room. The setting is lovely - beautiful Irish countryside - although the drive down the narrow lanes to access the property was a bit hairy. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the shower and bathroom were adequate. It was such a peaceful place! Unfortunately, we had to leave too early to partake in breakfast.
