Argyll guest house is a very pleasant place to stay. It is close to Cairngorms National park and to the many whisky distilleries in the area. Our host Leslie was very friendly and helpful with some good suggestions for the area. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend Argyll if you are staying in the Cairngorms.

Delicious menu on offer, to supplement the great buffet. Enjoyed the decor/ambience of the breakfast room. Perfect location and the host gave spot-on nature, history and shopping suggestions. Loved our Pheasant Suite too.

We had a really lovely stay at this beautiful, cosy, and welcoming B&D. Diane (the host) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed during the Cairngorm fires, which were only 14 miles away from the accommodation, which was of course worrying, but Diane kept us informed of any changes in the state of things and provided reassurance and a comfortable stay the best that she could. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast delicious. Tomintoul is a beautiful little village and a perfect reflection of what the Scottish Highlands are all about. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent guest house

Can thoroughly recommend, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast and the friendliest of welcomes. A brilliant restaurant a short stroll away for dinner. We stayed in the stag room which is very spacious.
