「We had a fantastic day. Patricia was very responsive and took care of our every need. Our only concern was the possibility that our 20 passenger 2 Wheel drive bus would not be able to make it up the rough mile and a half road to the villa in a downpour, but we were lucky and it was never raining when we were riving.. Four-wheel drives are definitely recommended. But staying in such a quiet bird filled paradise made the extra effort to get up there more than worth it.」

「Ballena Paridise is a well designed property. It is a spacious apartment. Property is very clean and well maintained. On arrival I was given a brief orientation and a set of keys and a remote for the gate. Loved the swimming pool and the beach is a couple of minutes walk from property. 「My husband and I stayed here for four days in April 2024 and we really enjoyed just sitting on the patio and swimming in the pool. Property is about 10 minutes from Dominical and is road which is not paved (and up a hill). Can’t imagine a car without 4x4 would work, we rented a Hyundai toucan and it worked fine. Property manager was easy to communicate with through WhatsApp.」

「The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. There are several outdoor dining and "hang out" areas that just add to the experience. The pool was perfect - our family was in it all the time. It is a short drive to Uvita (5 minutes). But the best part is Nicholas, Licho and Darling. They make sure your every need is covered and make you feel like family. Would 1000% stay here again.」

「From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by breathtaking view of the jungle and the ocean and the soothing sounds of nature. Each morning we looked forward to waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and a variety of birds. 「This house is truly incredible. The first morning I woke up to the sweeping view and sounds of the jungle I couldn’t stop smiling. Pay attention to the requirement for a 4 wheel drive car. The drive into the neighborhood is no joke. If my husband didn’t have off road experience I would not have done it. 「It's a very nice location. A bit dated but has everything you need. Nice quiet cabanas that are clean and really decent sized. Pool area needs some upgrades. The 2 !!! sunning lounge chairs need to be junked. The restaurant and bar are very nice, and food is great. Breakfasts are top notch. Biggest complaint is the beds. Rock hard. Had terrible time sleeping. Couldn't wait to get home to my bed. We've stayed her two times this year and because of the beds it will be our last. 」
