Life-changing trip!
From the very beginning, this place, the host and property manager was amazing! Super communicative and was totally open to my many many questions lol! Arriving there, Jorge drove us up the insanely steep awesome mountain to this beautiful property! He showed us around and made himself available for any help we needed during our stay. I I can't even tell you with words how beautiful this place and the view is! There's no way anybody would be disappointed by staying here. Thank you so much for an enchanted experience! I can only hope to one day be able to return. PURA VITA!

Beautiful
Very nice house. Clean, well equipped and a wonderful view! Only the way to get there should be considered. It is not very difficult, but it takes some time to get up or downhill to go shopping or out for dinner. But it is definetely worth it! But it is definetely wortth it!

Casa Bambu is a cozy, beautiful home with absolutely gorgeous views! The drive up and down the mountain is no joke, but you will get used to it after a few times. Just make sure you have 4x4 and hold on! The hosts have thought of everything—the kitchen is well equipped, they have boogie boards and beach chairs, and the towels and linens are fresh and crisp! Our stay was short but lovely!

We didn’t want to leave!
Casa Bambú was so beautiful and comfortable, staying here was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The views are just gorgeous, and we were in love with watching the colorful parade of bird visitors each day. We also loved the little geckos. The home had everything we needed, including a very well equipped kitchen that made prepping meals a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised to even find a set of yoga mats. It really feels like you are staying in a loved and well cared for home. The evening ocean breeze kept us comfy at night, we didn’t even use the AC. Peggy and her wonderful team were very helpful and proactive in communication, getting us settled in and checked out. Extra thank you to Jorge for meeting up with me afterwards to return an item I had left behind! You absolutely need a 4x4 to get there - the road is steep and rocky. We would just do one trip out for the day and got more comfortable with the road each time.

Perfect Stay in Uvita
This was our first time to Costa Rica and we were so lucky to be able to rent this property. 9 days was not enough and we're already planning our next trip! From the start of the trip, Jorge met us at the base of the mountain and escorted us to the home. He walked us through the property and ensured that we understood how the water heater and stove worked (which was super simple). Jorge and Trina were always quick to respond to our questions via Whatsapp. The home was well appointed and had everything we could possibly need. I loved that the living area was separate for the bedroom - I was able to wake up early and get breakfast going while my wife slept in for a while longer. We had coffee on the porch every morning while listening to the howler monkeys in the distance. Multiple species of birds were spotted from the top deck including multiple fiery billed aracaris and a yellow throated toucan that visited often. The pool was perfectly clean and an excellent break from the mid-day heat. A cleaner came by at some point during the trip, but I they were so non- intrusive that I didn't even realize he was there until I noticed the handful of leaves were gone. The drive up the mountain takes about 20 minutes and you'll definitely need a 4-wheel drive for some of the steeper sections. We never felt unsafe on the drive, it is just a little bumpy. Speaking of safety, the home has a huge gate but we never felt unsafe at the home or in town. It was a perfect trip!

Total Tranquility. Beautiful Home.
This is a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay so much. I wanted to get "totally away" for my 60th birthday and this place was perfect. The home is located up the mountain, so be prepared with a 4x4 and a fun, bumpy ride! We loved it! We saw so many birds every morning and evening we became "birders". We loved hearing all the wildlife every day. We fell asleep listening to the frogs. The house is well equipped to cook with many utensils and an outdoor grill. The pool is a delight after a day out exploring and the sunset each evening was glorious. We made sure we were back for sunset each evening; it was that good! The house managers, Trina and Jorge were helpful, and things went very smoothly with check in/out. Jorge showed us the way up the mountain the first day, which was helpful. The owner was also really helpful pre-trip with suggestions for the area. Communication was smooth with everyone. We did the Jungle ATV tour and it was a blast.We went to two waterfalls and a coffee farm. Highly recommend doing this. We also drove to Manual Antonio and hiked at the park and ate lunch in the area. Another highlight was walking on the Whale Tail at low tide. It was a beautiful day and fun to look up into the mountains trying to find our place. If you want a peaceful vacation home, this is your place. Be prepared to not want to leave Uvita!

We stayed at casa bambu for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our choice. The property was beyond beautiful, private, clean, and just right for a couple to stay. Listen to the host about getting a 4x4 car for the long drive up. The owner and property management were both very responsive to questions before and during our stay. Thank you Peg, Trina & Jorge! We plan to stay again on an anniversary trip :)

We have stayed in many vacation rental homes over the years. This place -Casa Bambu - was one of the best we have ever experienced. The house is lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The whale’s tail view is spectacular. We spent 4 nights here and most of that time was spent on the upper deck or poolside patio. There are plenty of seating options for sun or shade. The pool is clean and cool. Many different bird species visited every day and we also so saw frogs and a very large green iguana. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. As mentioned in other reviews, the road up is a little challenging especially the first time and we appreciated Jorge meeting us at the bottom of the hill and guiding us up. The management team was easy to contact and extremely helpful. This was without a doubt our best stop in our 3 week visit to Costa Rica. We would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting the area.

Highly, highly recommend to stay at this house! The location was superb - private, at a top of the hill with the best view for sunrises and sunsets. Perhaps the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had
Exceptional property with management and customer service to match. From our pre-booking Qs, to the moment we checked out, we were so impressed with the communication and professionalism of the process. The home has a classy, understated, functional design that blends wonderfully into its setting. The infinity pool is just the right size and has great views. The AC in the bedroom was nice when we needed it - but the airy, mountain breezes kept our stay comfortable all the rest of the time. Any cooking tools we needed were there, including smoothie blenders, pots, fry pans, juicers and toasters. We found that, given the mountain location and 4x4 road, we limited our trips out to 1 per day for whatever excursions we had planned or eating out we wished to do. The upside to that was that we really enjoyed our mornings and evenings at the property. We will definitely be staying here again.

Rainy season stay
While it was not a typical rainy season according to the locals this year, it was definitely a wet one. We had rain for nearly all day every day. So we weren't able to take full advantage of the pool while there. The house is set in a very scenic area of the mountain, when renting a car to arrive...make sure it's 4x4 but also has good ground clearance. The road is very uneven and difficult to manage in places. We had a Mitsubishi asx and it had trouble due to ruts at times. The property is absolutely beautiful. We heard monkeys 🐒 and birds nearly all morning when having coffee on the porch. A few hummingbirds even visited inside on a morning flyby. Local restaurants are amazing and the locals were always helpful. We traveled to dominical a few times as well for the beach and food. Then down to Marino ballena for a day trip (spoiled by rain unfortunately)... but found an amazing spot for bagel sandwiches at Bagel Time. Jungle atv tours near the house made our day as well. The tour was great and had so much to offer and well worth every penny. We stopped at a coffee farm, and at 2 waterfalls that were absolutely beautiful. I know we traveled in the rainy season, which is not new to us. While we understood the chance of rain was a possibility, this trip was literally rained out. We had to limit our time off the mountain due to road conditions and limitations on visibility when driving. We heard over and over this was the most rain they have seen in Oct in nearly 3 yrs. I will say this bring a sleep mask if you're not an early riser, sunrise was 5am, and sundown 530pm. The bedroom offers some shading but not much in the early morning. Overall the house was perfect. Couldn't ask for more. Communication with Trina and Jorge the house managers was on point and easy. Even when we locked the keys inside 🤦‍♀️...trust me it happens. If you're looking for a private place with no need for the outside world, this is definitely a great option. Thank you for letting us experience your home.

Absolutely Amazing!
This place is stunning! Beautiful inside and out. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the property managers are quick to respond. We had no troubles with the place, but just a few questions for our upcoming trip, and Trina and Jorge were happy to quickly assist. My wife and I absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to return. For those concerned about the road, it’s really no big deal even with a smaller 4x4. I’m confident I could drive 90% of the road in a Subaru, with only small portions needing the extra clearance a 4x4 has to offer. Great safe location, with a stunning view! Enjoy the beauty and serenity this place has to offer.

Just WOW!
Pretty sure I found the place I want to live forever! Casa Bambu is an absolute dream! The view is breathtaking, and the villa itself is perfect for 2 people. The bedroom was very comfortable, and you get to wake up to that million-dollar view every morning! My favorite place to hang out was the 2nd floor terrace, where we’d have our afternoon cocktails while being greeted daily by very curious fiery-billed ararcaris. You do get used to the 4x4 adventure up and down the mountain, and the town of Uvita has everything you could want. The property managers, Trina & Jorge, were fantastic. I can’t say enough about Casa Bambu, and our whole week-long experience in Uvita! Already planning to return for a longer trip next year!

Everything we hoped for
After waiting an extra year to get here, everything was wonderful. Casa Bambu is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The views are incredible and you can find everything you need in Uvita and many beautiful beaches and out trip options around. Definitely rent a 4x4 vehicle as the 4km mountain road would be impossible without one. Daily rain, daily sun, many birds and jungle sounds made for a rest that was much needed. Thank-you.

Best vacation ever! This house overlooks the ocean in the hillside of Uvita. The town of Uvita has all the comforts you need, grocery store, car repair and tire repair, doctors offices, beaches, restaurants, and activities close by. Our entire experience in Costa Rica was amazing. Very beautiful country and the people were incredibly friendly and helpful. Casa Bamboo is absolutely beautiful, well decorated inside. Outside is like your own personal paradise with plants, trees, foliage, and flowers that smell wonderful. Upon our arrival Jorge met us in town and showed us up to the house. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make it to the house. Very steep, winding roads. Without a 4 wheel drive car you'd never make it. Most all rental car places will have a 4x4. We highly recommend Casa Bamboo. Peggy is a gracious host. We'll definitely be back!

Whale Tale
We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Bamboo. The view from the house was beautiful. We watched the Whale Tail (National Park) appear and disappear with the tides from the veranda. It was a great outside space where we spent a lot of time while at the house. Every morning we had our meditation, yoga and then coffee. We enjoyed watching the Toucans come to the fruit tree just several feet from us and hearing the Howler monkeys at a distance in the jungle. It was a perfect place for a couple to spend some private time together. The pool was quite refreshing on the warm afternoons and also allowed for a great view. A really nice breeze came up the mountain and it was a few degrees cooler than the town of Uvita below. Jorge and Trina were very responsive and helpful and good to work with. The main challenge was the road up to the house. As stated a four wheel drive vehicle is necessary; and, I would recommend a heavier vehicle. We had a Toyota Rav 4 and got stuck one night trying to get up the hill after a period of rain. We definitely recommend Casa Bamboo.

10 Days of Bliss!
Had a lovely time at Casa Bambu and enjoyed the solitude. We met K2, the adopted cat, and welcomed her appearance each morning and miss her already!! The many birds and butterflies were enchanting. We stayed at Casa Bambu for our honeymoon. It was the best time of our lives. First time in Costa Rica and we will return. The view of the ocean and whales tale could not have been any more amazing. We sat on the balcony every morning and listened to the wildlife in the area drank our coffee and had breakfast. Howler monkeys every morning. The house came with everything we needed to cook a meal on days we didn't feel like leaving. Trina and Jorge replied to every question we had and made us feel so welcome. I wanted to bring the hostess cat home with me. She was so friendly and sweet. Everything about this place was nice. We even enjoyed hiking the whole way down the hill a couple mornings and seeing the views along the way. We were so sad to leave. We will return. Pura Vida

My fiancee and I absolutely loved this place. We had never traveled to Costa Rica before but I felt completely prepared with all the info that was provided to us by the property owner. The car ride up the mountain was part of our wonderful adventure. To wake up every morning to the beautiful view of the Whales Tail and listen to all the birds and wildlife is just amazing. Jorge was extremely helpful and worked around our schedule for check in and out. We plan on going back for our honeymoon and hope this place will be available as we can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Beyond our Expectations
Casa Bambu was everything we were looking for and more. The beautiful house is exquisitely designed, from the selection of materials to the attention to detail, the level of comfort, and its regard for the environment (small footprint, yet very comfortable). Because of all these features, this property qualifies as a real gem! Add to it the gorgeous location, surrounded by the tropical rain forest, the view over the Pacific Ocean, and the lovely people of Costa Rica. The property is as described and the hosts have thought of everything that a couple could need. Sitting on the porch watching the Whale’s Tail while having coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening is so relaxing. The view from the bedroom is also a pleasure to wake up to while hearing the birds, insects, and howlers. K-T the hostess cat is so fun to play with - she truly welcomes folks to the property. Make sure to have a 4 x 4 to negotiate the road, but it is easy once you have gone up and down once. Our stay was truly a pleasure.

Beautiful view and property
Casa Bambu is a beautiful property in the mountains above Uvita. The landscaping is perfect; it fits in with the mountains and the jungle. I especially enjoyed the infinity pool. The house is very clean and well provisioned. I made friends with the resident cat who loves everybody. I'm allergic to cats, but this cat was not a problem. She stays outside and will stay away from you if you need her to. But she's always nearby and very friendly. My only concern was with the road to the house. We were told we needed a four-wheel drive, and that is absolutely true. I was not prepared for the steepness of grade or the length of road necessary to climb the mountain. We rented a four-wheel drive, but we're provided a Suzuki Vitara, which is more of an all-wheel drive with a wimpy engine. We had to back down the steep slopes more than once because the car did not have the power to make it up without a running start. Nevertheless the road was an adventure and if you get a proper vehicle, a Jeep, a Land Rover, or something with at least a 2.5 l engine you should be able to tackle this challenge. For me it was fun, but I can imagine it might be less fun for others who aren't used to off-road driving. Don't let this discourage you though, the place is worth the climb. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would stay again. The property managers were very attentive, very professional, and helped us every time we needed them. First class!

Great location, wonderful value
Casa Bambu is a beautiful property with an unbeatable view of the Whale's Tail nestled atop a mountain centrally located in Uvita. The property is comfortable, well stocked and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Jackie, Trina and Jorge went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of before and during our stay, even meeting us at the supermarket in town to ensure we found the house and arrived safely. The toucans and howler monkeys greeted us each morning, and we enjoyed hanging out with the resident kitty - K2. We miss her already! This property is perfect for two people who want a comfortable, quiet place to serve as home base during your stay in Uvita. It's pretty close to tons of attractions, and there are many amenities (supermarket, gas station, restaurants, bank, beaches etc) nearby. Be sure to exchange money at the Bank of Costa Rica at the base of the house road, it is only a few USD charge to do so. And, you HAVE to check out Los Laureles restaurant (also at the base of the house road) and Aracari about 10 minutes away. Both are outstanding - both food and service - and prices are very reasonable. We recommend Casa Bambu without a doubt. Absolutely top notch.

Everything was extremely well laid out and thought out. Communication before and during our stay was perfect and I don't know how it could have been better. Stayed in and cooked/ grilled several nights and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed getting up early and watching the wildlife. Definitely take some binoculars.

If you’re looking for a couples getaway - stop right here and book this villa now! My husband and I spent 6 glorious days here and we couldn’t have imagined a better vacation for the two of us. The villa is 3km up the dirt road on the mountain, the mountain itself is magical and this villa does it full justice. Place of relaxation and completely falling off planet Earth into a lush jungle full of monkeys and macaws. Open your eyes in the morning cuddling in the king size bed admiring the Whale’s Tail in full glory as you scheme how to move to Costa Rica, take a dip in the infinity pool all before your morning coffee. We loved that the mountain is much cooler than beachfront area - amazing to sleep and no need for AC, that is available. Some other important things to note: full kitchen with good frying pans and sharp knives (my pet peeve about rentals is scratched up frying pans and dull knives), basic condiments available, there is a washer/dryer which is great for getting humidity out of your clothes before packing for the flight back. The manager is very communicative and available for any questions. It’s a pleasure to stay in a place that you can tell is very well loved and taken care of!

Holiday in the JUNGLE!! 5 Stars!!
Amazing time in Costa Rica! The property is located in the middle of the jungle with amazing views!! This is the first property I stayed at in Costa Rica that had actual screens on the doors and windows that worked! So no worries about any insects or animals getting into the house. The house is extremely clean and well maintained. The property manager is also amazing. She can answer any questions you have and point you in the right direction. She lives a few mins away and checked in with me a few times during my stay. Definitely an amazing time!!

Relaxing in the mountains
This house is a perfect getaway for two- it's romantic, has amazing views, and Jacqui (and Trina, who manages it when Jacqui is away) were wonderful to work with. We had a wonderful time! Just be ready for 4x4 driving - our rental car lady in San Jose said we wouldn't really need 4x4, and she was way wrong!

Extraordinary Pacific Views and Lush Setting
The property has extraordinary views of the coast, is beautifully landscaped and has thoughtful touches provided by owners - candles, well stocked kitchen, filtered water, washing powder and a social cat. We loved our stay, would like to return and definitely rent a 4x4 ;-)

SIMPLY PUT - PARADISE
This is one of the most beautiful and magical spots on Earth! The house is absolutely lovely; well laid out and the views are second to none. With a huge set of kitchen windows overlooking the valley below and the Pacific Ocean, we cooked nearly all of our meals because it was just too amazing to leave. The market with fresh meats & produce are just down the hill - a 20 minute drive - but well worth it! The ocean is only 15 minutes away once you're in town and the offshore fishing (Quepos) only an hour or so away; the mangroves/snorkeling tour, and hour the other way down the coast - so everything is within an hour for "tours"; otherwise you can go to the Ocean, right at the Whale's tale in the park located in Uvita or just up the road toward Dominical. There is no way to describe the beauty of Costa Rica. From the starry nights to the afternoon of refreshing showers to the lightening dancing over the night sky above the ocean; to the great fishing; the delicious food and the wonderful people. It's truly a magical place and the Casa Bambu just added to the magic. The views are incredible from the bottom floor where the bedroom is located (via outside - yet covered stairs) to the deck and glass covered sliding doors; to the all around windows - no place where you don't see gorgeous, luscious tropical flora & fauna. Heaven on the hill!
At Casa Bambu, nature's music was all around us! Every morning, the birds and howler monkeys woke us up, and every night the frogs and insects sang us to sleep. You definitely need a 4WD to get there, and the ride is worth it, especially after a day of exploring: cooling off in the plunge pool amid the tropical breeze refreshed us instantly. The view! Fruit from the trees on the property provided fresh flavor to our afternoon drinks. A wonderful place to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Bonus: Trina's a helpful, responsive host.

Outstanding 25th anniversary retreat!!
My husband and I just stayed 6 nights at this little gem on the mountainside. I will say the photos are spot on, but it’s even better in real life. Our stay began with meeting Trina, their delightful property manager who went above and beyond the call of duty to rescue us off a treacherous mountain road in the pouring rain as it was getting dark, and the road was flooded (crazy, but true story!). She made us feel safe and welcome at a scary time in a country we didn’t know, and was patient to allow us a quick trip at the grocery store to get a few supplies to tie us over to morning. We arrived at the property after dark, so to awaken the next day to the sounds of jungle birds and howler monkeys and then look out the window at the breathtaking view for the first time was simply amazing! It would have been easy to stay right where we were the whole time! The feeling of calm and relaxation we felt as we gazed at the view and listened to the jungle was truly a gift to our souls. But alas! There were beaches to discover (Ventanas and Uvita were our favorites), Jungle ATV tour to explore the mountainous region and visit a coffee farm. and OSA canopy tour zip line nearby for some adventure. The road is definitely not for the faint of heart, but becomes easier with each pass up and down the mountain. Try some fish tacos at Los Laurealas! For an amazing dinner experience, inquire with Kurà, the resort up the hill. Trina arranged for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary dinner there. The service was impeccable, and the view at sunset was to die for. Don’t let the rainy season scare you away. We were able to enjoy everything we had planned without rains changing any of them. So if rainy season is best for your travels, come! You won’t be disappointed. Jacqui, the homeowner was so easy to work with as we made arrangements, and checked in with us upon arrival. We are already dreaming about when we can return.

Thanks for your amazing review! It makes us so happy when guests can enjoy all that Uvita (and Bejuco!) have to offer. Both Trina and Kura are huge assets to our community. Thanks for staying with us and sharing in our little piece of sunshine!! We were so worried for you when we heard you had traveled over the mountain pass on a treacherous road. It has me want to state to all future renters to please stay on the highway routes and to be careful when following a GPS that takes you off the main highways. Fortunately, you were in a good vehicle (4WD) and called Trina to aid you in getting you to Uvita. We are so grateful that journey is behind you now! I can imagine it will become one of your most adventurous (and frightening) stories of your adventure in Costa Rica. Hope to have you back again soon!

A piece of heaven in the jungle
Casa Bambu is beautiful! We had stayed in the "hills" of Uvita last year as well, but this was our first Bambu holiday. When we arrived at the property with Trina (the property manager) she walked us through everything. I fear I may have missed some of what she was saying though, as the views were so incredible and I was a little distracted. The view of the Whale's Tail was framed perfectly by the mango tree that would drop delicious fruit for us every day. The bedroom on the main level was very spacious and the king sized bed was always very welcoming after a day of lounging by the pool. Every morning at about 5:30 we would wake up to the sounds of birds starting their day. Toucans would arrive and snack on berries from another tree beside the pool and we would watch them as we had our coffee on the upstairs deck. We cooked most nights in the second level kitchen, which was stocked with almost all of the preparation tools you need to make a masterpiece meal. One of the favorite things for us in Costa Rica is exploring local food and creating our own delicious experiments. People might think it is strange to enjoy cooking on a holiday, but Costa Rica offers up such a diverse buffet of unique ingredients, we can't help but be curious. With the volume of mangoes we were "awarded" every day, we started adding them to our homemade Pico De Gallo for some sweet and spicy flavours, as well as pressing them through a sieve for the tantalizing base of an invented rum cocktail served on the rocks. The property itself is beautifully maintained and lush, bursting with colors and dappled sunlight through leaves. The road up the mountain is rocky and seems unforgiving, but once you are through the gate, you forget everything and fall under the spell of the jungle. There was one minor issue with the pool while we were there, but Trina was quick to respond and Jacqui (the owner) also followed up immediately to resolve the issue. In the end, I would recommend Casa Bambu. We love Costa Rica, and Casa Bambu was a wonderful home base on our trip.

Heavenly!!
Casa Bambu is absolutely stunning! The house was perfect for me and my husband – just the right amount of space and all the amenities of home. As noted by other reviewers, the views from Casa Bambu are amazing. It was tempting to never leave the house – there was always something catching our eye, whether it be Whale’s Tail at Manuel Antonio National Park and the absolutely amazing array of birds right in “our” backyard. We saw toucans, crested guans, aracari, hummingbirds and so many more! And the sounds of the howler monkeys off in the distance was awesome. The back porch was amazing – we had coffee in the morning there and afternoon cocktails, all while marveling at the scenic views. The kitchen was fully equipped and the uv filter allowed us to drink the water, which was a big convenience. The bedroom was beautiful and we loved waking up every morning to the birds chirping and watching the sunrise. The gas grill was great and And we were able to buy fresh snapper to grill at Soda La Macha which was located close to Dominical. Trina, the property manager, is the best! She was super helpful – both before we arrived and whenever we had a question about the area. She saved us from running out of gas one day and went above and beyond to help us out. Uvita is the perfect little town – two good grocery stores very close to the house. Dominical is charming – definitely one of our favorites. The Del Mar Taco Shop in Dominical was an excellent lunch spot with friendly people and great tacos. The fresh fruit stands were amazing as well and definitely worth stopping at to pick up fresh pineapple and watermelon. We’ve already started thinking about our return visit to Casa Bambu! It was a idyllic setting and offered perfect accommodation. Everyone was so friendly and nice to us during our stay. Thank you, Jacqui, for sharing your absolutely beautiful home with us and we hope to be back soon! Pura Vida!!

Great view! Private.
Trina brought us up to the house a day early to show us how to get there and give us the keys so we could get in early the next day since we were staying up the road in our previous vrbo. A very nice touch. The view was spectacular! We saw Toucans every day and many other species not found in our neck of the woods! The house was perfect for a couple and very private, yet not isolated. Gated community. We spent many hours on the deck just watching and enjoying paradise. The pool was great and all the right cooking utensils were available. New gas grill too. Make sure you have a 4x4 for sure! Preferably a fair size one, though we got up with an “intermediate “ one from Alamo once we turned off our air conditioner! We are in our late sixties and considered the ride up a fun adventure. Thank you Trina and Jacqui!

AMAZING
We just returned from our 12 night stay at Casa Bambu and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was absolutely perfect !!! This was our 4th trip to Costa Rica and we loved the Uvita/Domincal area. Jacqui & Trina the property manager were wonderful and answered all of our questions and were there whenever needed. The property was spotless, no crazy bugs (which was amazing). We had everything we needed there and the view was priceless. The drive up is long and rough so you definitely need 4x4, which we knew and most of the places that we stay at in the mountains are the same and part of the Costa Rica charm. It is always an adventure. The house had all of the amenities that you would need and the pool is lovely (we didn't get to use it much as it is rainy season) and we spent days adventuring and nights just loving the view and the peacefulness. We will be back and anyone wondering whether this is the right spot then wonder no more!! Just book and you won't be disappointed! Thanks Jacqui & Trina for everything! Hope to be back soon!

Loved it!
Location was perfect for all activities in the area. The views were amazing! The house was clean and so was the pool. It was a small but a cozy place. The sounds of the jungle made this home feel secluded. They also have a guest house for renters that have more than two people.
