This put me in an embarrassing situation, as I had to return to my original room. That said, I still had a great time in Budapest. I’m surprised by the unwelcoming room, the false promises, and the lack of compensation—especially from a hotel associated with a Michelin-star restaurant and the Solid rooftop breakfast.
