"The staff was great, you mostly have to text them as the office is only manned part time. The room was nice, cozy but had a microwave, frig, coffee maker, and TV. There was a portable heater which we used in the shower to reduce the fog as there was no fan to turn on to vent the room. Concrete has several fun shops and places to eat. The only drawback was a sump pump that was very annoying one night, ran every 30 secs making a whirring sound and then a thump all night long. Great location to get out and see the sites, enjoy the beauty of the area."
"This is a welcoming, beautiful and relaxing stay! The farmhouse is so cute and cozy and was just perfect for our weekend away from the kids. Soaking in the hot tub in the evenings was the highlight of our stay. It was so peaceful with the snow on the mountains and listening to the cows as the fog rolled in. We took a day to drive up to Diablo Lake and take in all of the waterfalls, snowy mountains, some light hiking and the gorgeous river. The host was friendly and super helpful when we locked ourselves out. Adding this to our "will stay here again" list. "
"The host was nice and helpful. The house was cozy and perched right above the river which made for viewing birds quite convenient next to the big warm fire. The house felt secure with a nice fence and big gate. The area though seems to have quite a bit of rif raff, keep to yourself and respect the locals and you will be just fine. Would stay here again and recommend this property to others looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation. "
Glamping Dome w/ Hot-tub & Kitchen, 15 min drive North Cascades National Park!
10/10 Excellent
"This was an exceptional stay! The glamping dome was unique, cozy, and felt very private. The amenities were great, especially the hot tub. The proximity to hiking trails was a major bonus. We definitely hope to stay here again!"
"The pictures do not do the Rhody House justice! It was such a charming, well equipped, and comfortable cabin, despite being in a remote area. The Rhody House is the perfect place to explore harder to get to places in North Cascades National Park, including the Cascade Pass area. We were very impressed with how fast the wifi was, and we loved how peaceful and quiet the cabin was. I can see why it stays booked up! We will definitely try to stay here again if we come back to the North Cascades area. Thanks to Steve for being such a fantastic host and sharing his amazing cabin with visitors! "
