We enjoyed our stay in this quiet secluded facility. So glad we arrived in the daylight because the drive down into the canyon would have been daunting in the dark. The night skies are phenomenal! Our cabin was clean and we had plenty of room for the five of us. Make sure that you are well prepared for the remote location.

Really loved the rooms, beds so soft, fully stocked kitchen, Oven, fridge, microwave, cooktop, Keurig with assorted coffee. Breakfast tokens for your sack lunch breakfast brought to your door the night before. Beautiful wildlife came to visit in the courtyard. We will be back, we loved this place!

Secluded but not too far from Great Basin NP. Very comfortable with great foid options at the market. We loved sharing our happy hour with the deer and turkeys...knocking down apples for them (and a few for us) was fun! The night sky was amazing! A wonderful place to relax after hiking at GB!!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how much we loved this place. We loved it so much we wish we could stay longer and fully intend to return. The room was clean and huge, the bathroom was great, the sheets we had to look at the brand because we want some, the area was beautiful and quiet and safe and the staff was awesome. Stay here.

Hidden canyon retreat
This place was amazing. A little out of the way, but worth it. Very friendly staff. Rooms have everything you could ask for. Small market with a wide range of food options - fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, juice, canned goods, refrigerated & frozen goods. Had fun shopping. Scenic drive down into the canyon. We had never seen stars like we saw there. Highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Great Basin Natl Park. It’s about a half hour drive from the park.

Liked the location whic was near to the Great Basin National Park. The property was upscale with beautifully natural surroundings including deer outside our door. The star glazing was wonderful.

It was off a dirt road but once you get there it’s very nice. Very large rooms, pool, hot tub, full kitchenette. Loved the deer on the property.

Check in was laborious as at dusk after the arduous drive down the road into the canyon any signage as to where to go to register was unclear. Also after check in there was then a further drive to the rooms. Once there though we found the rooms as described, they were clean and had good amenities. We were also provided a super breakfast to take with us. This would be a good place to stay if arriving earlier and for more than one night.

A lovely retreat! They've thought of everything you might need and provided it. Only negative was the lighting in the rooms was too dim, need more and brighter lighting. Great stay overall!

Amazing property. Peaceful and beautiful
This is a hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough. It is down a 7 miles dirt road, so be prepared for that, but any vehicle can drive it because it is well maintained. At arrival we initially noticed the deer all over the property. Very nice to be so close to nature. Check in was smooth and the employee was so nice. For the breakfast, they gave us tokens for their store, so we just bought our breakfast for the next day while checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There is not internet or cell reception down in the canyon, so be aware your phone won't work. But there was a TV with DirectTV in the room, a game room, a hot tub, pool, and many other actives. We will certainly stay here again and cannot recommend it enough to everyone looking for a place to stay near Great Basin National Park.

The retreat is located at the end of a 7 miles dirt road, which is really secluded yet well stocked with foods and amenities. The stars at night were simply amazing.

Remote quiet clean place!
The place is super remote, but very close to Great Basin NP. The room was super clean, Staff very nice, and property was well stocked with what you need it. Plenty of space for our family of four. Definitely staying here again if we come back to Great Basin.

Worth the trek!
This was the only place to stay for our trip to Great Basin National Park but it was a pleasant surprise! The information and directions emailed ahead of time were very helpful! It is a dirt/gravel road but wide and well maintained. The decorations were very cute and kitchen has everything you need! We had a lovely evening relaxing in between days at the park.

neat place, no cell service most of the time, promised land line didn’t work, breakfast choices not great, but otherwise enjoyed, especially the ping pong

We’re sorry you did not see all of the warnings that cell and Wifi coverage is not reliable in this entire area. We send out multiple notices so guests are aware of the issues. We are unfortunately unable to control a monsoon knocking out the landline. -It also knocked out our business phone; if we could have avoided it, we absolutely would have. As far as the breakfast: most guests enjoy the option of choosing anything they want in our grocery but we are sorry you didn’t like that. Covid definitely changed some things and breakfast buffets aren’t an option any more. Glad you enjoyed the ping pong!

The kitchenette worked very well, all the appliances were well stocked and functional. The wifi was a pleasant surprise (when it briefly worked - but better than nothing). Loved the hot tub especially after a long day of hiking. The floors were a little dirty and there was no housekeeping but overall it was a great experience and certainly one of the best lodding options near Baker.

This place is so remote it is difficult to find. They do send you an email after you make a reservation. My recommendation is they should say "print this email now" to grab your attention, because, there is no internet near the property, so saving that email message in your phone is useless to finding the property if you have no internet when you are close by. Besides that everything was great!
