"Stayed off season. Small staff. Coffee was empty in breakfast area first morning. Hot water was very slow getting to 3rd floor. Restaurant was very crowded both nights ( being about the only one open in town). Small walking distance to downtown!!"

"We got exactly what we wanted. A room with a beautiful view of the River and Bolt castle. The resort was very clean and well staffed. The only problem we had was timing. We got there a week late. Everyone had left and nothing was open. Maybe next year we will visit the castle. Alex bay is a ghost town after October 15."

"Gorgeous house and property. Has everything you could possibly need! Extremely clean and comfortable. Communication was superior and very responsive and accommodating. We would return but the stairs to dock (new and very nice) were numerous making it difficult (for us) to navigate several times a day to use dock for fishing, swimming or boating."
