The staff was great!!! It has a secure gate that is accessible by using a pass code that keeps the property feeling safe. No restaurant on site but many available with only a short drive.

Definitely an older property but nicely redone. You might be lucky to find one staff person on duty at any given time in case you need anything, otherwise you're on your own. While I can appreciate a clean smelling room, the smell of pinesol or fabuloso was so strong that I had a headache, and my clothes reeked of it after just 2 nights. Plenty of potential of there were some minor improvements. Great location.

Tati and Mary were really helpful, we got to the property a little bit earlier and they checked if everything was in order and let us relax by the pool / bar area. We scanned a QR code and played an interactive game (like a scavenger hunt) where they talked about the hand-carved wooden Boruca mask and people, after we finished they gave us a refreshing fruit drink. We all love it!!!!

Emanuel went out of his way to help us in a jam! We had a reservation at an Airbnb that turned out to be a dump, it was late, he got us in a room, helped with our bags. We ended up staying for a week. I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel! All the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Pools were great and loved that there was a bar. Easy walk to the beach. Restaurants and grocery stores on the same street, walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff said we were not allowed to adjust the air conditioner lower than 75°F (26°C). They said the air conditioning would motion detect if there were people in the room and if there was movement then you could adjust the AC to whatever you’d like. However, this was untrue for us. We would set the AC to 68°F/20°C, then be relaxing for 3 minutes, and the AC would automatically jump back to 75°F/26°C. We were in a puddle of sweat every night, so it was difficult to sleep. Mattresses were also pretty uncomfortable. Our first and second nights, there were people swimming in the pools naked, so be warned if you are bringing children. They seemed to be partying til pretty late at night. I kept waking up to loud noises. Staff seemed friendly and nice overall. They weren’t helpful with the AC situation tho.

Of all the places we stayed at in Costa Rica, this one was the absolute best value for money. We made a last minute reservation here for one night on our way back from Corcovado and I honestly regret not staying for longer. The property is small but stunning. They appear to not only have a pool but also a sauna. Everything looked exactly as the images online. Our room was comfortably sized, the bathroom was modern and most importantly had a bidet (which is someone I have sorely missed in Costa Rica since you can flush toilet paper). Staff was great too. Self-check in was a breeze. I will just say that the rooms on the upperw floor don’t have elevator access and so if you have issues lifting your luggage, then I’d request a room on the ground floor.

Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. No charge for this, just kindness. When I decided to stay an extra night they figured out how even without a reservation. Gracias a todos. I will return. Pura Vida!

The room was modern and clean. There are no reception staff, so you have to enter the property and your room using a code. Unfortunately I did not get the code prior to my arrival and had to try to call through the doorbell camera but there was no answer. I sent a WhatsApp message and got a response within 5-10 minutes. On the morning of checkout, I went for breakfast and my code stopped working for the exterior door when I returned. I once again had to call and message to get back onto the property. Although the room was clean, there were large clusters or tiny ants that would gather around anything that resembled food. As well, the toilet wouldn’t flush and I realized the shut off valve was closed. When I opened it, the plumbing was leaking and I ended up with flooding in the washroom. The location was convenient to walk to the beach, but not convenient to walk to most of the restaurants and amenities in town.

Nice small hotel. We had a little issue checking in but it was resolved quickly. The bar took cash the first night but not the second, not a big deal but inconvenient. Special shout out to Caroline and Mary who wonderful with recommendations on beaches and restaurants. The rest of the staff was very friendly. We will stay there again.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un endroit très propre, très bien situé (5 min à pied de la plage), avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Le concept de cuisine partagée (bien équipée et très propre) est très sympa.
