Felt Just like home

Our visit to Avalon to attend the Catalina Island Conservancy Ball was a great success due to our stay here. Great location, easy walk everywhere. Good communications, property worked well for our purposes, will stay here again if available.

Property is in Disrepair - We Felt a Bit Ripped Off

It was a drag that we couldn't open the place up and enjoy the fresh air. The hardware on every door, including the front door does not work properly. The front sunroom doors and windows cannot be opened due to missing or broken hardware. If you try to open a window, it could fall out. All other windows do not function. The rear door is held closed with fishing wire and balcony is a mess. Many items broken throughout the place. Stair Railing falling off the wall. Floors were not clean.

Huge condo, very nice

We loved staying here! The only issue we had was a water leak due to rain, but otherwise had a great stay! Beautiful great room, kitchen, and dining table. One bedroom with en suite bathroom, 2 secondary bedrooms share a separate bathroom. Our 3yo loved the bunk bed!

Great location

Very nice and walkable to everything in Avalon - clean, bright and even a view of the ocean from the sunroom. Beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. Only drawback was noise from the lower unit well past quiet time of 10 pm on two of the nights.

A wonderful, easy access, beautiful location

We had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday! My 91 year grandmother and a few family members enjoyed the holiday on Catalina. The location was easy to find and so close to all that we needed. The staff were wonderful to work with. We all can’t wait to go back again.

Charming home so close to town!

Beautiful updated home with all the amenities. Stayed for three days with family. Loved that it was located so close to town. We were able to walk everywhere, no need for a golf cart. Only issue was getting a hold of the actual host. Had to go through a few steps to get that info, but once we did, it was smooth sailing from there. Will definitely be booking again!

Great Property

We loved this property. We were travelling with our three adult children and their spouses and it was a great place for all of us. Fantastic location, not too far from the ferry and close to the shops. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Great spot

Very nice place minutes from the ferry and a block from the grocery store. Much more modern than a lot of the old cottages on the island. Had a great time & would definitely return.

Rat Problem

I gave this property a low rating because of the rat problem. There was a lot of moving around above our heads while in the bedrooms. This forced 2 people in our party to sleep in the living room for 2 nights. I called the manager and reported the problem and she did send someone out to take care of the situation. It was obvious to us this is an ongoing problem in this property because there were traps already set in the rafters overhead in the living room. You can imagine how we all felt knowing that! Another negative was the lock on the front door - easy to lock from inside but very difficult to lock when leaving for the day, so we left it unlocked. Also, there should be a covering on the window in the master bathroom and the door in that bathroom that leads to the outside patio does not close/lock. All of that being said, the unit was clean and very conveniently located.

Exceeded all expectation…

It’s rare that a place actually delivers a heck of a lot more than you ever expected, but that was our experience here. Perfectly located downtown, close to restaurants, shopping, golf and the waterfront. Love the layout, accommodated our group perfectly, we will be back again next year.

Nice Upgraded Property

Location is fantastic. This is the upstairs half of the house. The updates were nice and the vaulted ceilings and skylights made the great room layout feel even larger.

The property is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The location is ideal for shopping, beaches and restaurants There is grocery store a couple of blocks away for easy access to supplies. The location of the property is ideal but at times the road noise can get a little loud but quiets down in the evening.
