The home is in direct line for the cool lake breeze, where you might enjoy an afternoon or evening sitting on the front porch swing. If there are more than two people in your party during your stay, they can choose from a single bed in the purple room or a full bed in the blue room. All rooms have access to plenty of closet space and dresser drawers.
Our place: Our beautiful, recently remodeled home, is so ready to welcome you! The bathroom and bedrooms are on the second floor!
The stairs are steep, but have tree to help!
In the kitchen, there is a coffee pot and toaster. (If you need a gluten free toaster, there is one available, upon request). There are dishes, silverware, cookware, pots and pans. There is a safe for your valuables.
The Neighborhood: Lake Shore Park is a quarter mile to the East. You can feed the ducks, play frisbee golf, or sit on a swing and enjoy the water. Walnut Beach is a mile and a half to the west. Conneaut township Park is located 12 miles to the east- on 60 acres, it offers something to do for everyone. From playgrounds to soccer fields and basketball courts.
Lunch might be at Crow's Nest - a family owned restaurant a block from our home, where the best wings (among other things) can be eaten. A half mile West is Historic Bridge Street (2018 winner of "America's Main Street" contest, where, after shopping at the boutique stores or the art gallery, you can have a great cup of coffee at the Harbor Perk, a glass of fine wine at Fitzgerald's or Halcyon, and choose a meal from pizza, smoke bbq, steak or other amazing entrée. Dessert can be ice cream at Cones or at Marianne's (But be sure to go to Marianne's early for her homemade chocolate!) Harbor Laundry is a few miles away, if you need to wash clothes.
Getting around: 1,000 feet to Route 11, you are a hop, skip and a jump to the many covered bridges, wineries and events in Ashtabula County. We are 15 minutes from the Spire in Geneva. Also 15 minutes from Geneva-on- the-Lake, if you don't get stopped by the Bascule Bridge in the Harbor - then add 10 minutes.

I really enjoyed our stay this weekend. It’s a nice area. Seems like it would be nice in summer as well. The house was very clean and some of the basic items that were available like water bottles, coffee, creamers, etc was an added bonus. We would love to come again!
Great stay here in this house. Loved the area too. We come here for a big swim meet very year and we love staying in this town and going to the harbor perk every morning. Such an interesting area. The house was warm and inviting. It has everything you could possibly need. The property manager was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable and helped us with anything we needed. Great safe and clean place!
The overall stay was excellent. The house was clean and the owners were available if any problem should arise. Check in was easy and we were able to go in the house a little early which was nice since our drive there was a little quicker than planned. We also got to meet the owners son who lives next door and gave us some great information on nearby beaches. The only downside was geneva on the lake was a little further of a drive than we would have liked.

You can walk (not short) to a nearby lake shore park or beach (3? min drive) or drive 10 minutes to another one as well and be on the beach. Attractive space. STeps -- as advertised -- are steep. Lovely and helpful property owners.
This house is a lovely respite for a weekend or longer! Within a short driving distance to the downtown area, a beach, and a lakeside park. There are wineries close by as well as a suburban shopping area if you need to run to Walmart.
The home has everything you can think of in terms of feeling at home! We cooked meals at the house in the well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom is updated and clean and beds are comfortable with clean linens and there are extra blankets and pillows. We watched a movie on the television in the living room, which we were able to connect to our streaming service. Books, puzzles, and board games are provided as well.
I sat on the porch swing to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to listen to the rain in the evening. The house is big enough that everyone has their own space, but small enough to feel cozy. There is a restaurant called the Crow's Nest that has good food for a good price just about diagonal from the house. They have dining or take away.
All in all, this was a very relaxing visit. Five Stars! I would stay here again, hopefully for a few extra days :)
This has been the second time we have stayed at the property. Great host! Perfect location to all things we need when coming into town. We will be back when we come into town again…
Such a fun and relaxing weekend at this stay. It was clean and exactly as described. The location was in the perfect spot, very close to the beach and other attractions, while also being private and peaceful. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this spot and would definitely stay again!
No issues the home was wonderfully equipped and in a pleasant neighborhood. Quick response by host. We only got to stay one night due to work issues. Would stay again.
Beautiful house and was exactly as listed online. Was very clean and comfortable to stay in. Its an older home with an unique staircase so if stairs are an issue I would use caution when booking. Overall a wonderful stay and certainly will go back on our future fishing trips.
We were in town for a funeral. The checkin process was easy and the communication from Gary and Linda was wonderful. The house was perfect for what we needed. Sits across the street from the lake. Very clean and comfortable.
This is the second time I have stayed at this location. The house is large and will accommodate multiple families, including children. The décor is enchanting. I cannot praise the hosts enough. Highly communicative and welcoming. I highly recommend this dwelling as well as the wonderful hosts.
Very clean property. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space to park a truck with a boat along with a second car. Just minutes away from pretty much anything you would need for a relaxing trip. Ours was for fishing and its location to a boat launch cannot be beat. The owners are very receptive and you can tell they do their best to make sure your trip goes well. They are very easy to reach if anything is needed also. Definitely a place you will return too.
I can’t speak any higher of the owners of this home. The communication was wonderful and they were so welcoming. The house was clean and so relaxing. They did everything they could to provide a great experience for their guests. The access to the vineyards was great. We are excited to come back in the future.
Great communication and nice weekend vacation spot. We had my adult son and daughter with their significant others. The one bathroom was challenging but we made it work. Some mirrors in the bedrooms would help immensely since that’s where most of us had to get ready. Only other minor thing was the soap dispenser in the bathroom was not pumping. Overall a great stay!
